Maybe you, BIGNEWY or Nineline could forward your information to Wags. If your post contains any relevant information for our DCS F-16, ED will maybe reconsider the "limitation". https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4491060&postcount=16

If the Kneeboard is not convenient to list all the emitters you could also add the function to edit the HARM tables to the F-16 special options tab, so we could edit our prefered tables once in the special options and this setting is loaded into our F-16, similar to what Deka did with the JF-17 countermeasure programming. Actually i would prefere this over a list in the Kneeboard. Quick and dirty exapmle picture attached.

1. He said black cockpit glass, not textured cockpit :P 2. They already said they are making the AI A-6E as if it was a full DCS module because they hope to get the license to make it. 3. Don't take my post to serious(as an insult/negative) I really hope we get the Intruder as a full blown module for DCS, i'm more interested in that module than in the F-14. :joystick:

That sounds like a mod to me. The only thing i'm aware of is the markpoint of your current location on the kneeboard, that thing that you already know about.

Eurofighter relative flight performance, feat. Gero Finke
unknown replied to Hummingbird's topic in DCS: Eurofighter
Hey QuiGon and Expert(or anyone else) could you please continue your conversation via PM or open a new thread in the ChitChat section of the forum if you feel the need to discuss this OT topic any further? The OT question came up, there were many answers(including from me, so i'm at fault too) but let us not derail this thread any further, please. -
There are only two things you can do so we have a chance to nail this problem with you. 1. go to options -> special -> MI-8MTV2 - check if Rudder trimmer is set That could be your problem, if not: 2. in your mission press right control + enter and bring up the input control indicator(check for strange input behaviour), replicate your problem, quit the mission and save the track file(lower middle button on the mission result screen) and upload it here

Eurofighter relative flight performance, feat. Gero Finke

I don't know if it is also written down in this forum but Wags(ED) himself told so in one of the (Fighter Pilot Podcast?) interviews he did. So yeah, it is officially admitted that parts of FM/systems/wepaons are altered from RL performance/capabilitys. Edit: hah, Etirion has it even with a timestamp  -
In the link Elysian Angel posted they edit in the planed date of release of patches. Thats why it(post) was created in may but last edited today, thats than they edited the OB patch date from tomorrow to next week, they probably found something that needs to be fixed first. That thread/post should be your/our number one goto place if you/we want to know something about a patch date.

I like the last Mini-Update by Wags  :megalol:

Just saw this, i don't know if you figured it out by now but i think uboats meant the DCS MissionEditor. There you can open the campaign missions and see/edit all the text and save the missions again, a little example pic to where to find text. It could also be that i totally misinterpreted your post, in that case just ignore me. :D

That is sad to hear  All the best and speedy recovery to him/her! Take your time with it.

Yeah, that would be much appreciated

And what is the problem with an option to disable them? We have this already for the F/A-18 and the F-16 and i wish they would add this option for every module. I think the reflections look good on a monitor with a "fixed" head position(using a hat on the stick to move your view). But in VR they look exactly the same independently of your head position(contradicting their purpose), it's like someone put a semi transparent poster on your cockpit-glass, very distracting IMHO.

No, what zhukov032186 said.

widescreen monitor question
unknown replied to silverdevil's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I also use a 21:9 3440x1440 monitor. The settings in my signature are for VR, with 2d i could run higher settings. But i only play SP, i have between 60 and 100+ fps in 2d. -
Progress pictures on the Eurofighter Typhoon

Very nice, keep them coming! -
They need that time to test the version, if there are bugs they need to fix them and re-test the version before release. That was the whole point of the increased time between updates, increase the quality of the patch not the quantity of stuff(bugged) added. Moving around your steerpoints? It has been some time that i was flying the F-16 so i could be wrong on that one.

It is interesting how people read things differently. For me i can't read stuff like paid module in that newsletter, only that they have the whole RTS system "finished"(aka working like intended) and now have strapped it to DCS core to see if it's still working like intended. Like in get the code right and include it in DCS "spaghetti code" to see if it still works or if it is not working than you don't have to scratch your head if it's something in your RTS code or the old DCS code messing around with you. Would it make sense to make it a paid module? I would say yes, depends on the price ofcourse.

Thank you ED for todays newsletter! Very good stuff in there, keep up the good work. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4446619&postcount=265

Regarding the IRIS-T from todays weekend newsletter: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4446619&postcount=265 Will this be the first missile in DCS with support from the manufacturer? OK, nothing sensitive/secret will be revealed but it could be the first missile in DCS which is close to it's RL counterpart.

Mig-29A.....hm....would be cool but not brain melting or as cool as a modern Flanker would be :joystick: Edit: or a Mig-29K I'm curious to see what the project will be if ED reveals it end of the year.

....especially from that YT channel.
