  1. Remember about laser burn out time. You can't use it forever. AFAIR it's around 9 mins... Or 20? It's acumulative, so the laser doesn't "coo down" when it's off.
  2. Until we'll have ability to save these profiles, it's wast of time with every start, IMO.
  3. A-10 has great autopilot. Just trimm it "close enough" and use AP.
  4. Hi, I have problem with map coords shown in F10 map. It apears only online, but on any map. Coords and ground level MSL changes according to map zoom. If I want to get exact coords, I need to max zoom map, otherwise point willl be shifted, sometimes well over a mile. How to fix it?
  5. Turning off radar seems logical since IRL areas protected by SAMs and fighters are separate to avoid frindly fire. So if you are locked by SAM, you don't have to worry about fighters. But it doesn't work like that in DCS.
  6. I really think there is something with JDAMs, and it's not a GPS/INS problem but game problem. Look at my screen shot - near upper hangar there is a hole after bomb. the one falling hit exactly this same point. Target was placed on the runway crossing, left on picture. I noticed sometimes (not always) map coordinates changes with map zoom - for example I zomm map, so I can view whole airbase, I write down coords in format DD MM SS.ss, then I make maximum avaible zoom for target point and coords are different. The differenc is greater, the greater was zoom difference.
  7. Sadly not (yet?). Same problem with A-10C. First thing - editting lua shouldn't be necessary. What we would like to save? Flare/chaff programms (it is possible with lua), HMD setups, HUD reject setups. Ideally - some interface for per-mission programing target points for JDAM/JSOW PP Mode - all this also for A-10C.
  8. A-10C II's TGP is 100% this same as A-10C, so it's something you're doing makes it not work. AFAIR the only change is now LATCH option is on by default. There might be two things: 1. As EasyB said - if laser is masked, on TGP and HUD you'll have letter M and you can't fire it (even if you see target on camera) 2. With TGP SOI if you press DMS right short you can swith laser to pointer mode and it won't guide the deployed weapon.
  9. Exactly like Hive said. You don't need DSMS page.
  10. No, you can't.
  11. When you step the missile the previous will bore sight itself, you can't "programm" missiles to remember targets.
  12. China hat aft short should step to next missile (not pylon).
  13. This is how Mavs work, it's not TGP hi-res camera, just IIR sensor, there is no work around for that and as far as I know it works like this in real world. I don't really understand what would like to achive with "multiple SPIs", what you can't with markpoints. Set AAP Steer point selector to Mark, set markpoints on every target you wish (your "multiple SPIs"), TMS aft long for "SPI to STPT", HUD SOI and DMS aft/fwd will switch you between marpoi9nts makeing them SPI (alternatively you can switch between them with UFC STEER rocker). I can't see how it differs from your "multiple SPIs". If you had your "multiple SPI" they also would be useless, when targets start moving.
  14. It's arounf 43 nm, this same with A-10C - it's some kind of game engine limit.
  15. You can set Markpoints and switch SPI between them. Its logic will be exactly like "multiple SPIs", but IMO more intuitive. With Markpoints there is no problem in for example ripple 6 Mavs at 6 (non moving) targets on one flyby.
  16. HUge difference is... You guessed it - HMI - do you use a Warthog HOTAS? I can only imagine how hard it is to fly an A-10C with any other joystick or HOTAS. With TM Warthog it's just walk in a park....
  17. Flaps are hold in UP position by hydraulic pressure. If you lose it, flaps will fall down.

    Hornet JDAMs.

    I did such a list for myself, so here you have it: Bombs: 500 lbs Mk-82 - Free Fall Mk-82AIR - Retarded - ballute Mk-82 Y - Retarded - parachute Mk-82 SnakeEye - Retarded - petals GBU-12 - Laser GBU-38 - JDAM GBU-54 - LJDAM 1000 lbs Mk-83 - Free Fall GBU-16 - Laser GBU-32(V)2/B - JDAM 2000 lbs Mk-84 - Free Fall GBU-10 - Laser GBU-24 - Laser penetration GBU-31(V)1/B - JDAM USAF GBU-31(V)2/B - JDAM USN/USMC GBU-31(V)3/B - JDAM penetration USAF GBU-31(V)4/B - JDAM penetration USN/USMC Hydra rockets M151 - HE M282 - AT Mk5 - AT Cluster bombs Mk-20/CBU-99/CBU-100 - AT CBU-87 - HE CBU-97 - Sensor AT CBU-103 - HE WCMD CBU-105 - Sensor AT WCMD A-G missiles AGM-65 D - Small IIR G - Large IIR H - Small CCD K - Large CCD L/E - Large Laser F - Large IIR AGM-88 HARM AGM-154 JSOW (A - cluster, C - warhead) AGM-84 (D Harpoon - 120 nm, E SLAM - 50 nm, K - SLAM-ER - ??)
  19. Yeah, I'm having problems with JDAM either, but I'm on my own bug hunt, so I didn't reported yet. One thing is JDAMs oftem miss their targets, but also something strange happens with map coords. I noticed it on online servers, no ME - I'm writing down my target coords and after 5-10 mins coords on map are shifted and my wrot down coords point at other target. Sometimes few hundreds feet, once even 5 miles.
  20. But what is your problem? You didn't say that. Trimming works fine.
  21. I do it all the time and there's no problems. I don't know why the error pop ups, but I'll give you other hint - when right engine is cranking turn on AMPCD (bottom monitor) (you can turn others too, but for the hint it doesn't matter), when right engins will start and generator starts working the AMPCD will turn on, then switch INS knob to start alignment (CVN or GND) and then press STD HDG on HSI (bottom line of buttons, second from the left). The alignment will take 90 secs.
  22. Was it a first drop or second and third bombs? When autolase fires first time, when it turns off you have to turn back on LSD/R on right panel - it will aout shut off after autolase.
  23. On YT film you attached in other topic you can clearly see, that Cat 2 foult line is correct
  24. When radar is in AUTO mode you can't change elevation. Switch it to MAN.
  25. If you're droping in CCRP it'll always be 3/9. Settings you're reffering to are for CCIP.
