  1. Rememberthat Hornet is going out of early access in few weeks and Viper is very early access. So Hornet has more options is more complete, and if you start with Viper you'll have to relearn few things as they will change durig EA.
  2. It's a known SP issue - tanker is dragging both baskets. In MP it's not and it expands basket only on Ready pre-contact. So in MP it's easier to figure out that you need do the comms, and which basket goes first.
  3. If conditions are good rejoin befor 7 nm is acceptable.
  4. When you designate with TDC depress, TGP should slave automaticly. Works for me.
  5. Make HMD SOI - SSS forward, undesignate - NWS, you should have on HMD aiming cue (dot wit short dashes around it), aim with your head and pres TDC depress to designate.

  7. Neutral trim and T/O trimm are two completly different things. Neutral trim is set to 0. And T/O trim deepnds on plane, weight, wind, etc. For example for Hornet T/O trim from airfield is 12 degrees, for carrier ops it's 16-19 degrees, depending on weight.
  8. You can take off with Hog at 101-102% of weight, maybe more. It just take a bit longer, but of course it's not recommended.
  9. If you play single - nothing. But on multiplayer with SRS there is working tranposnder that transmits squawks and LotATC (AWACS software) reacts to emergency codes.
  10. It should switch transponder to transmit 7700 code, like it does in A-10C or Huey. Here it does nothing.

  12. Fighter to fighter you won't get bearing, only distance. Also for yardstick to work properly, wingman shoud set TACAN channel +63 of FL.

  14. Found your problem - start up not according to manual but pure chaos. 1. You never use lights on CV, specially landing light! 2. It's recommended to start right engine first. 3.!!!! You can't do aligment with breaks set to OFF. It has to be on PARK. Besides from aligment it would be stupid to release breaks before rediness to taxi. I really recommend RTFM, I can't tell if you missed anything else, pilot's body is obscuring half of switches.
  15. If you get MC read info on the left DDI (most cases) 2 bottom lines. It always says you what's wrong.
  16. AFT is OFF, FORWARD is ON.
  17. It's 100%software or user error. Don't use TARGET if you don't have to.
  18. Tanker activates left basket first. Right only when left is occupied. There is a bug in SP that makes tanker drag both baskets all the time. Try on MP - tanker will extend basket only on "Ready pre-contact" and it will always be left first.
  19. Are you using TARGET software or bind controls directly? You can make MFCD SOI simply clicking second time the bottom OSB of already selected page.
  20. It's emergensy countermesures dispencer to drop all flares before emergency landing. It's located on central console over Dispencer mode switch.

  24. No, it has not. It's to new. Like a F-16, F-14 or Syria. And probably won't get 50% soon. And don't listen to jackdaw, it's great, has some issues (as EVERY module), it's still in development, frequent updates, level of complication close to A-10C, but it's multirole and carrier operted. Oh, when you buy Hornet, after your purchase buy Supercarrier. It will be cheaper with Hornet in your library and carrier operations are whole different way of flying.
