  1. thank you very much for a prompt response, @BIGNEWY !
  2. yup, you're not alone. The last update screwed up the trim axis for p47 big time. @NineLine doesn't respond to any request to look in to the issue. The update had zero to do with WWII modules but somehow messed it up so bad I don't understand how is that even possible. @BIGNEWY are you guys going to acknowledge this at all?
  3. ED giveth and then taketh away..th..
  4. i secretly hope they've fixed it but didn't mention in the patch, however I have to wait another 8 hours to try it out ... fingers crossed
  5. so ED releases a hotfix but doesn't address the P47 axis that got broken with the last update.. What gives, @NineLine ?
  6. yup, like @grafspee said it's a CB breaker failure, look on the CB panel (near left foot), you'll see one of the buttons extending out (top right corner of the panel). Just push it down. to prevent this from happening make sure not to twist "Instrument light" rheostat (#9 on the picture) all the way to the right, i.e don't set it at 3 o'clock (i.e. max), instead set it at 2 o'clock.
  7. there is, but it works a little bit differently from other warbirds 1) the main fuel pump is turned on when you select the fuel tank 2) there's a booster fuel pump, which is controlled by the rheostat on the lower left panel (# 3 on the second picture) None of them introduce the RPM fluctuations, I've tested it when I discovered the open primer handle rpm issue..
  8. yes, it needs to rotate to the right (clockwise) to be closed.
  9. this may be an unrelated hint, but I remember seeing a post from Yo-Yo warning the pilots not to drop the RPM's below 2,000rpm whilst the throttle is in max continuous/WEP, indicating that the ignition timing will be totally messed up resulting in severe detonation leading to a full on engine seize.
  10. I never had any issues with climbs in this bird. I keep it in 2600/46" zone through out + Auto Rich mixture. Come to think of it I've never used Auto Lean ever.. Never had a problem you guys describe. Dials stay in the blue/green and this baby pulls nonstop.
  11. P47 is a pleasure to fly with vkb gun fighter pro, no curvature needed for me.. now, for Mosquito i had to put a 20% curve. If you think P47 is twitchy in the pitch axis give Mosquito a try...
  12. cool story! I noticed that the fw190 Anton 8 can travel much further on an engine with no oil pressure than P47. Feeling that A8 might still have some bugs to be worked out I love P47. One thing that stands out the most to me in P47is when you go to external view (F2) and turn on the cockpit lights you can actually see them come on. A8 doesn't do that. D9 doesn't either, nor any other birds...
  13. hi, @NineLine can you possibly take a look at this report? It started after the last update, and specifically for P47. I've opened another thread on the issue the controllers section: https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/292195-saitek-x55-axis-for-elevatoraileronrudder-trim-only-moves-50-in-cockpit/#comment-4883802
  14. ah, so I'm not alone.. having the exact same issue with P47. https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/292195-saitek-x55-axis-for-elevatoraileronrudder-trim-only-moves-50-in-cockpit/
  15. hi, guys, after the latest update all of my 'trim' axis on X55 work only for the 50% of the range of movement WHILE in COCKPIT. i.e. if I go in to "tune axis" for each trim/axis assignment the dot/square thingie moves the full range from lower corner to the upper corner. However, when I use them in the cockpit the range is only 50%, i.e. - for elevator I can move fully towards NH (nose heavy), but moving it to TH (tail heavy) the range extends only to the 'center/neutral' and can't move it any more, the physical knob is all max out on X55. It's the same story for other trims... I don't even know what key words to search for in order to fix this. Does anyone have any suggestions?
  16. oh, trust me, I know that 40's channel very much, and I'm not even in my 50's ..lol The fact that XM switches its programming to Christmas music in Nov/Dec upsets me to no end lol (although they still make it available in the streaming app). Thanks for the pointers!
  17. per manual it creates an excessive amount of turbulence along the airframe, and can cause the rudder/elevators to start flapping and potentially leading to their loss. Look at the stick during such dives, it's shaking like crazy.
  18. awesome! I may have missed the customs/border bullet, mine is showing to be in Memphis right now..
  19. Quite reminiscent of the vivepro2 release when HTC 'recommended' to unplug the headset because it couldn't enter a standby mode. It's fixable in software. Question is how quickly Varjo will update it to remove this 20th century dependency.
  20. SOW is just as boring as all other servers if not more. They just require you to do a proper mission planning with the squad to off-set the lack of assets, and a lot of people love the planning more than the actual game. It's still just as poor with assets and possible scenarios, same missions over and over. SOW is not a poster child for this topic.
  21. hi, dburne, did anyone notify you there was an outstanding customs issue that needed to be addressed? I feel l would need to do the same...
  22. mine was shipped today and the tracking says that it's in SHENZHEN, CN. I'm in US. Let's play the game who gets their hmd first Place your bets NOW!
  23. great to hear that! Are you in the 65mm ipd zone? (I am, hence the question)
  24. if your sig is up to date then you're using G2 with WMR, which is a microsoft tech. It's not the same as running SteamVR with a non-MS-integrated headset. in any case this is all a speculation cheers
