  2. In DCS options you can set secondary shadows but only works when Terrain Object Shadows set to Default as description
  3. Yup same here. A must have for my carrier ops and i hope it can be fixed.
  4. It´s my wish 1000x. I use the Supercarrier since day 1 and almost everyday. I love carrier ops and all things related, but, in my opinion i think it will take more time I´m always eager for an update for the Supercarrier but i also try to not think much about it, just training whenever i can and catching some bugs to report. But the future is bright! We meet in the briefing room.
  5. From Carrier ops manual for DCS: "Use of Radar altimeter during Carrier operations: In real life the “RADALT is set to HUD” the entire time the aircraft is at sea. The switch on the HUD control panel does not move all deployment. The Flashing B that will appear on the right side of the altimeter above 5,000 ft is accepted."

  8. It´s fixed since 2 DCS updates ago, check some earlier posts from March.
  9. Hum? how so? the BRC in DCS can be known by Comms, PLAT cam, or using the ruler in F10. And in RL pilots on the marshall usually update the ship heading when they´re abeam or when passing the starboard side, using the CRS bug in HSI.
  10. You can change between LOFT or no LOFT. Were the missiles fired inside firing paramaters (shown in A-A mode in HUD)? Every missile has minimum range depending the aspect and speed of the target at those short ranges should be fired in Boresight mode or you should change to short range missiles (AIM-9)

  14. Same way you turn the right hardpoint (SNSR PWR). I humble advise you to start using a checklist. EDIT: the solution was posted above a few seconds ago while i was replying to you.
  15. -Mission Card. I guess all of this will come eventually and i know it will be worked on. Also i´d like to add the simple feature of stow/unstow the boarding ladder (or with a keybind or through comms, like the A-10C for example). I used a mod for that but no longer work. I know it´s not by all means a priority but would be neat.

  18. Thank you so much for the fix! it´s a must have for me and was a real bummer to have this mod broken. I use it in all my missions/templates. Keep up! F.
  19. Open the .miz file with WinRar. Open the "mission" file with Notepad++. Go to line 244 and change ["theatre"] = "Syria", line to the map you wish to use. Quit and you get a pop up to update the file you edited. Press yes. Go to DCS load the mission and save it as a Template. Beware, use common sense creating the templates and some ME adjustments may be needed. (ex: first time i edit the file from Persian Gulf to Syria my carrier was over Syria. I edited the original mission so the carrier on Syria be in place in the sea). But you´ll get it. Hope this helps.

  21. This mod is broken with the new update The Supercarrier won´t show up and if you start on the ramp your aircraft explode.
  22. To overcome that i open the .miz file with WinRar and edit the mission file (and change the map line to the matter i desire) and then load on ME and save it as Template. Should be a better way as you stated but for now it´s my way to have my templates in all maps i wish without creating a new template for each map everytime.
