Hi, I used to walk in VR using Object Free Camera and view comands for "walking" (binded to my gamepad) so i can do my walkarounds and go the aircraft by bus (like in the pic) but with 2.8 is no longer available to get inside the vehicles due for the damage model change or something like that. Please, it is possible to have this back? Thank you, F.

practice hard and you´ll see. I have less hours in the Viper than in the Hornet (i´m more a carrier ops guy) and i started from zero and went to hero. Usually if i do a free flight or weapons employment training mission i "oblige" myself to do always a AAR for keep profiency, i´m always practicing despite i´m feel confident in Viper AAR (i try harder scenarios with night AAR with bad weather etc). Enjoy above all

My humble advice is to practice, and soon we´ll see you doing AAR with the boom.

Hi, Does anyone tried to use the PseudoATC function? tried with no joy. Thank you in advance.

Some mods modify core DCS files that´s why you use OVGme, or other. If you install it manually it might corrupt your DCS installation and you´ll need to do a Repair/Cleanup afterwards; everytime DCS updates it will erase those modified files and you´ll need to install your mod all over again. With a modding tool like OVGme you Enable/Disable your mods with a click, useful before an update for instance. And if you install the mods, that modify DCS core files, in savedgames folder they just don´t work (savedgames mod folder is a duplicate of the one in main DCS folder. "core mods" don´t have the same folder path that the "savedgames mods" have). Just a note: Savedgames folder is not overwritten when DCS updates so you don´t need to use OVGme, but you can. I usually install those mods manually and use OVGme for mods that need DCS core installation.

I just want to walk around the carrier in VR (i already do it of course with Object Camera View but lacks a "Walk" key).

It looks that ED is working on Wear and tear, as i suspected. That´s awesome news.

I´m not sure if you´re aware of, but you can adjust world scale in DCS VR Options, in "Force IPD" (not the same IPD for align the VR headseat). I have mine set to 56 in the Hornet & Viper, try to change that value and you can adjust the cockpit/world scale in VR.

Tried to add ambient sounds but it won´t allow to add than 1 layer and it does not overlay in the other sounds around. I forgot that idea for now. Hope in the future it can be possible to be implemented and we have finally ambient sounds around the deck to give a more a true-to-life carrier deck.

I have Hornet liveries that weight 833 Mb in disk. I have about +32 Gb in Hornet liveries. I rather be able to download them through here or DCS User files than to "impose" to other users Gb´s in liveries they won´t use.

In the past i used a modified .lua file that allows me to park in the 2 Row (where is CAT 2) and in the Fantail but no longer works and crashes DCS.
