  1. I'll surely give this one a go as well. Using the Immersive Daimler Benz for the BF-109 and gremiha's P-51 sound mods have made the whole experience a lot more enjoyable and immersive for me. Thank for sharing!
  2. While I also find it a bit annoying, you can speed it up by zooming in a tiny bit and then back to default once you enter the pit. Then you only "lose" about 1 second.
  3. F4U Corsair F-4 Phantom II F-14 F-15E AH-64 F-111 I hope they'll manage to get 2 (or more)-person cockpits working. Would be very nice! F-16 would also be on my list, but we have BMS for that.
  4. Same here, I've been hoping for an AH-64 sim for years (after Jane's Longbow). I'd also accept the A model in case D is too classified. It frightens me that so many people want these modern jets like the Eurofighter. There's so much unknown and classified on those. Too many guesses, less realism.
  5. I use the slider for flaps in both the BF-109 and the P-51. In the P-51 it works great as the axis adjusts the full range of the flaps. In the BF-109 however, the axis responds only to down, middle and up so if you wanna lower the flaps 10°, you move the slider down for a second or 2 and the center it again.
  6. My 5-year-old son hates potatoes. I'm not sure how I'm gonna break it to him that we're actually living on a giant one :D
  7. Hey Stuka, Is there an easy way for me to tone down the loudness of the wind noise at higher speeds a tad? Thanks for your awesome work! Mud Edit: Nvm, I found it :)
  8. +1 I fully agree on this. It would improve immersion tremendously!
  9. Would it be unfair to say that they owe us that though? It is such a vital instrument for the A-10 and probably other aircraft in the pipeline. It can be done as shown by other sims / games.
  10. That is exactly how I start it (as per manual). However, interesting find you did there though. The missions in which I have been flying were made in 1.2, I made a new one in 1.5 then and ... yup ... no joy.
  11. Weird, I'm able to start the engine in 1.5 just lilke I did in 1.2: Ram Air to open Throttle to 1" to forward Fuel Booster to on Magnetos (Ignition) to Both Fuel Shut-Off Valve to open Wheel brakes on and locked Battery to on Generator to on Priming for 1-3 seconds Starter Mixture Control to Run
  12. Happy new year to fellow pilots, ED & 3rd party staff and your families. Looking forward to what 2016 will bring us.
  13. Yaay! Big thanks, Jamison!
  14. The Nevada map took a few years as well beyond what was first announced by ED, so I really see no reason to have this pessimistic outlook. I'm sure they understand the importance of a WWII scenario when they're releasing and working on several WWII birds.
  15. Agreed, i mean if the ambient environment and vehicles and people all have their own temperature, i would assume it can't be that hard to achieve. Then again i am not a programmer so ...
  16. Very nice of you. A Merry Christmas to you and your family as well.
  17. Been in love with this bird for longer than I can remember. So yes I would be ecstatic if it would be a dcs module. Patience is no problem here :)
  18. Mighty kind of you. Mi-8
  19. Ah yeah, I'm still running 1.2 so can't help you out on that one then unfortunately.
  20. lol ... nice find :)
  21. Yeah, it's possible. It's been a while but I'm pretty sure it's here: In Folder: DCSWorld\Config\View Edit file SnapViewsDefault.lua At the bottom of the file, look for Mine is set to 95 as you can see.
  22. Noticed the same here today in version 1.2.16 (Steam).
  23. I want to go to Las Vegas
  24. When I fly DCS I do want control over both engines independantlly. But in BMS with the script I'm running the left throttle controls the engine and the right one does nothing actually. In either case, for the price we pay for a Warthog I don't think you should settle with linking them. There's gotto be a reason and solution for the problem. I don't know if you've had a look at http://www.warthogworld.com Someone might be able to help over there.
  25. Hey MacFevre, I have experienced exactly the same problem. In fact, I'm currently experiencing that problem again, but since I'm flying BMS Falcon these days and have my throttles linked, it's not a problem. When I first noticed the problem I contacted Thrustmaster support, but they just replied with the default calibration crap ... which of course did nothing to resolve the problem. I did open up my throttle back then and applied some pressure on a contact board (PCB I believe) and then the right throttle responded properly again. Sorry I can't give you more details as it's been more than a year ago since I did this. In either case: I have my money on a hardware problem related to a bad contact somewhere. Br, Mud
