All the info I have to share is above. Thanks.

You are correct, but the modules still work. When the resolution comes, ether way we can look at such things. As of right now, we will not mess with their modules(keeping them working is on our end not messing with the modules), and obviously, they are not messing with their modules. As you can see there is a disagreement between the two teams, of course things are going to be rocky during that time. Improvements we add to the game of course are not being adopted by the developer when the developer is not working on the module. So you are mixing issues.

Hi, you can see what we are modeling here: "It is also important to remember that all features of our Viper are in regard to a United States F-16CM Block 50, roughly M4.2+, operated in the 2007-time frame." What does roughly mean? It means we can not always find the exact info we need so we might use something a little older, or maybe we cant add it at all based on classifications. However, the above statement is where we try to focus on the DCS: F-16. Thanks.

We cannot make the same promises with the F-15E as we have also stated as its very early in EA. It's almost like some of you refuse to read the first post About time for another purge as I see many of you spinning back on to the same topics over and over. This thread is like the movie Groundhog Day, and the only way to stop it is for a resolution to be found. On that note, of not reading the first post, welcome to the newest purge, you can still find all the old messages in the old thread, this one is once again cleaned. Lets try again to discuss what is in the first post as that is all we will discuss here. Thanks.

DCS: AH-64D | Radar Air Targeting Mode (COMING SOON) In this DCS: AH-64D video, we’ll discuss the next mode for the Fire Control Radar, or FCR: The Air Targeting Mode, or ATM. When in ATM mode, the FCR will scan for and prioritize fixed wing aircraft and helicopters with as much as 360-degree coverage. Like all FCR modes, ATM can be used from either the Pilot or CP/G seat. In this video, we’ll do so from the Pilot seat. ATM mode is a helpful way to detect aerial threats and even attack other helicopters with Hellfires or the gun. As before, we’ll select FCR as the Sight and ATM as the FCR mode. We can set these in the Controls Manager for either the Pilot or CP/G, just use the Search function to find them. As you can see, ATM uses a circular, 360-degree Plan Position Indicator format with the centerline azimuth relative to your aircraft heading. The Field of Regard Box at the bottom is replaced with an indication of your upper and lower scan limit coverage in feet above ground level. Unlike other FCR modes, there is no automatic elevation control. You must enter it manually with the up and down arrows here. Below, you can see the relative elevation angle on the scale. Just like the other FCR modes, we can either transmit continuously or as a single scan burst based on the selected scan volume. When not scanning, you can select the scan area with the Wide, Medium, Narrow, and Zoom FCR items for the FCR. If not in Wide, you have left and right arrows to offset the scan volume. As mentioned before, you must manually control the scan elevation of the FCR when in ATM. If the elevation is too low though and you are trying to scan behind the aircraft, you’ll see a blanking symbol representing the scan area that is blocked by the tail. Last, the Priority Scheme can be configured to determine prioritization in how targets are displayed. Targets inside a Priority Fire Zone, PFZ, are prioritized above all others and those inside a No Fire Zone are the least prioritized. When the Scheme is set to A or B, stationary helicopters are prioritized over moving aircraft and when set to C, moving aircraft are prioritized over stationary helicopters. Between multiple moving aircraft, those flying toward you are priority over those flying away and helicopters will be prioritized over fixed-wing aircraft. One final note on an item that seems to have caused some confusion: the US-operated AH-64D we simulate in DCS never used Stinger missiles operationally. Whilst some foreign operated AH-64D do, we are simulating the US version. Also keep in mind that the winglet stations that Stingers would be mounted to are in fact occupied by countermeasure warning system sensors.

We have had a number of updates since this all started and so far so good. This is intended to continue no matter the length of this dispute, or even if it is not solved in the manner we all hope for.
-
And you are guessing at things you are not aware of, so please try to understand what I have written to you a number of times already. We have shared all we can share right now, and the rest is in the hands of both management parties and their lawyers. Thanks.
-
As stated many times, all the info we can share is in the original post. We will not get into the nitty gritty as it's an on going discussion with RB. I know there is a lot of confusing info out there, some true, some not. But we continue to go through the proper channels to work this out. Thanks. You two should take this debate to DMs, especially if you want to drift near the rules, if continued here I will be deleting replies from both of you. Your hypothetical theories and comments are just muddying the waters around something no one really knows much about publicly.

Kids do like crashing in DCS You control your account access. We cant help if you are irresponsible and accidentally gave him the login and password I was talking about the ones that are out of Early Access (aside from the map which will continue with that map team as it has). So they are not a waste of money AT ALL. The Harrier is still one of my favourite 3rd Party modules, and well one of my favourite aircraft.

I haven't seen any new updates. What does your son prefer to fly in DCS?
-
We can fix missions, but we most likely will not fix anything that is short of game-breaking until things are settled one way or another. Nowhere did we say that, and your post is still there. Weird. This is correct, all we can hope for is to maintain the current functionality no more no less. That said the modules our of EA are great in their current state, and while its easy to say they could be better, I can also safely say they are great as they are.

I could not find this liked comment anywhere, so I removed it from here. If it is found I am sure it was a misclick, but I do not see it at all. Thanks.

It's in the first post from an official announcement. Please don't start on the conspiracies again.
-
While I understand that is your opinion, and that is what you feel, its a very narrow view of the overall situation. None of this is good for anyone involved and on the outside certain actions may not make sense.
-
Nothing is being swept under the rug, discussions are on going and when we have news to share we will share. We do not want anyone to die. RAZBAM is a top-tier 3rd Party for DCS, and its loss would be huge. So while people might have harsh opinions about RAZBAM or ED, it's ok to keep those to yourself.

If it's not for DCS, it is not for discussion here. Please stay on topic. Thanks.

This is already reported and planned to be fixed.

You guys all need to stop now, everything in the first post is what is known, this round and round is not helping anything.

reported WWII AI has been ruined.
NineLine replied to motoadve's topic in Aircraft AI Bugs (Non-Combined Arms)
Please include a track of the issue. Thanks. -
no bug WW2 AI still have no idea when to bail out.
NineLine replied to Gunfreak's topic in Bugs and Problems
Ok after discussing with the AI guys and doing so more testing I have not been able to reproduce an instance when the pilot would not bail out when the aircraft is on fire. As for the "late bailout" seen in the track included it was not a bailout, but when the AI ditch they will eject their canopy right before landing, the issue here is they ditched in the middle of town, what most likely happened was that the AI lost some control function just before this and could not avoid ditching into a city block as well as it was too late to bail. I will leave this open if new tracks show up, but as of right now I do not think there is a big here beyond the fact that we can't possible program the AI to react to every possible scenario at any possible minute. -
We all just need a healthy large group hug at this point.

Not soon enough... I might actually try and be a better helo pilot if we got a Blackhawk... I would probably fail but I would try.
