  1. They probably haven't put it up on their server yet. Patience my young Pad Wan
  2. I just love it when I learn something new!! Thanks guys
  3. I don't believe that this feature is implimented just yet. At least not in the Hornet anyway.
  4. Better than I can do!
  5. Weren't they also going to redo the S-3B Viking specifically for tanking the F/A-18??
  6. First off, thanks for making this post to gather our feedback. Hopefully we'll see something come of it. 1. The thing about the DCS world is that it is so beautiful and there are so many static objects that only enhance it's dynamic feeling of realism, but it is so freaking difficult to place them correctly!! Please give us the ability to zoom in close enough to put us in the 3D environment while still in the ME so we can see how an object is placed on the actual terrain and be able to manipulate it. Presently, one must save, start the mission and search for the object you have just placed so you can look at it to see if you have it right or if it is sitting on a 45 degree slope. Then go back into the ME to make a change, then rinse and repeat. This is an incredibly tedious task. 2. Weather - I'm not asking for anything like dynamic weather but at least allow the mission builder to decide where they want fog or clouds rather then having it blanket to entire map. Allow us to "paint" an area with clouds and/or fog and with varying elevations. At the very least, how about giving us several layers of clouds instead of just one? 3. Wind - could you allow us to decide for ourselves what the spread is between surface wind and 1600 feet? Could you portray the wind as it is throughout the entire aviation world, as the direction it is blowing from, rather than the direction it is blowing to? 4. As others have mentioned, there has been a grass airfield in the ME for quite some time, how about letting us use it? 5. Allow us to place a plane anywhere as a spawn point for a client. I would ask about the carrier but I am aware of the changes coming to that environment so I won't waste any of your time on that. 6. Last but not least, give us the ability to adjust the height (elevation) of some of the objects such as smoke so we can place it on the top of a smoke stack or lights to place on an antenna. Of course, this last request wouldn't be worth messing with unless the first request were granted!
  7. The DCS Warbirds may well become quite popular in MP once there are more things with which to to aid in our suspension of disbelief, such as what Rudel is asking for.
  8. Thanks Greyman.
  9. I have seen the same thing on the Hornet in MP.
  10. Is the air to air refueling still broken for the F-16?
  11. I never realized that Grumman had a watch maker on staff!! :megalol:
  12. Although I heartily agreed with the suggestion for the P-61, my vote would go towards a late model Chance Vaught Corsair. Either the F4U-4 or -4B. The -4 did make it into the tail end of WWII and played a key role in the Korean War as did the -4B. I am aware that Magnitude is making the F4U-1D but there are huge differences between that and the -4(B) that I am voting for. A CVE to go with it would be awesome!!
  13. Has there ever been any WIP screen shots of this beauty published in here?
  14. Definitely +1 for this!!
  15. You will find it on any aviation chart. I am told that the Gulf map has about 2 degrees of Eastern variation. The Caucus map is about 6 degrees East. The NTTR map is about 12 degrees East. I have no idea what the Normandy map is.
  16. Beautiful module!! Thanks ED  Are we going to eventually get a centerline drop tank?
  17. So, can we expect an update to OB tomorrow, and then download the Viper the next day, or will everything happen on Thursday??
  18. To Lunatic's list I would add: C-46 or C-47 DeHavilin Caribu or Buffalow C-123 Provider
  19. I too have the same concerns, however, I have to mention to MobiSev, sort of tongue in cheek, that the very reason for the navy's tradition of keeping a "Greenie Board" out in view of anybody that walks by the ready room, for video taping every single landing and giving the LSO so much authority over every pilot in the groove, is to try to prevent you from "messing up your landing just a little bit" :pilotfly:
  20. The Shangra La would be an awesome suggestion since she hosted the F4U-1D in CVG-85 throughout her WWII. Korea, not so much, but what the heck, who's counting??!! I'd vote for the Sangra La to be included any day!!
  21. I am hoping that, if they get it right, just starting that beast will be a great challenge!! :pilotfly:
  22. Have you looked at your plane from the F2 view? Maybe the chocks are still in place.
  23. Understood. Thanks Wags
