  2. Congrats on the new downwash effects, but grass is still sticking up through the floor of the aircraft only now it is waving furiously! The grass is going crazy inside the aircraft!   3. Can you wear independent ear phones with the Pimax Crystal? I would like to keep using my own haptic feedback earphones with great sound, so would not be interested in purchasing the Crystal if I can't use my own headphones with it. Thanks in advance. Talisman

  9. Agree with above, especially crew communications, plus, come on ED, lets be able to see the troops in the back and see them embark and disembark. I think helicopter operations have so much untapped potential that ED could explore to drive sales and improve customer experience. Happy landings, Talisman
  10. Dear Enigma, Please investigate bug regarding Huey and troop drops as experienced on the server by myself and Branston 10 minutes ago. Problem: Two Huey helicopters drop of troops. 1st Huey finds 9 enemy units and kills 6. Second Huey finds zero enemy units. First Huey then gets shot down by remaining live units while picking up troops. Second Huey picks up troops and drops them again with the same result, zero units found. Remaining enemy live units fire at passing jet and damage it. Second Huey shot down. Why is the second Huey not able to find or destroy enemy units? Why is the second Huey getting message to say zero enemy units found? Please investigate as this is no fun for Huey's flying together. This has been a reoccurring problem for a number of weeks now on both maps. Thank you. Talisman Edit. Dear All, just to say that Enigma is working on this and much more. We just have to wait for a while.
  11. Sorry about Discord but I don't use it as I am unable to agree and sign off on their privacy policy. Strange, as the reported number of enemy units found by the first Huey (example 19) vs the reported number of enemy units destroyed by the first Huey (example 6) indicated more targets left to destroy for the second Huey. Even stranger, when returning to the target on another mission sortie we were able to destroy the remaining targets. Very odd. Happy landings, Talisman
  12. Dear Enigma, A friend and I have been attacking front depots with two Huey helicopters loaded with standard troops. The problem we have been having is that the first Huey to drop off troops finds lots of ground units and destroys 6 of them leaving plenty of ground units for the second Huey to destroy. However, the second Huey gets a message to say that zero targets have been found. The same thing appears to happen sometimes when we attack normal front line units too. Could you shed any light on this because we are somewhat confused why the second Huey gets a message to say zero enemy units found when the first Huey has messages indicating that there are many enemy units found and many still left to engage.   13. Human Animations Starting with new AH-64D pilots in 2022, this work will continue into 2023 to include new infantry and more pilots with more life-like models and animations. Priority pilot models first include the F/A-18C and F-16C pilots. Very much hope that "new infantry" means I will be able to look back and see the infantry in the back of my Huey helicopter and see them embark and disembark. Also hope that more life-like pilot models means that my Huey co-pilot will talk to me and call out contacts, etc, just like the rear seat AI for the Tomcat. Happy landings, Talisman

Dear Enigma89, Please return the server setting to 'allow player export' as soon as possible as since this was just turned off I can no longer use my JetPad with SimShaker for Aviators sortware ( https://github.com/Simshaker-for-Aviators/SimShaker-for-Aviators-Releases ) as it will not work unless 'allow player export' is activated. Without JetPad and SSA my aircraft is dead as I get no vibrations through my seat without it. Thank you very much for your kind consideration. Happy landings, Talisman

  16. I don't think so. Although I have not been on the server much lately due to low fps issues in VR since the 2.8 patch release. Perhaps others are also finding performance an issue since the 2.8 patch. I have managed the odd flight on Enigma, but sometimes the performance is worse than ever. Snow kills my fps since 2.8 and I have to leave the server. Syria is bad too. Caucasus map is best for me at the moment, but if there is snow on the ground I have to leave the server.   17. Sorry, but having trouble understanding the points you are trying to make. As I said, I am not much interested in SP. For me and many others DCS is all about on-line MP flying with squad mates, friends and other human beings. And some of us are helicopter pilots flying low level on popular MP servers, which makes the fps drop even worse to cope with. It is the DCS business model to run open beta that leads to all the best MP action and best servers running open beta. Other flight simulations run a different business model by way of closed beta testing which does not split the community between two versions of the game. The trouble with the DCS business model is that it leads to a split in the community between 2 versions of the same game. Different business models have different outcomes. One of the outcomes of the DCS business model is a split community between the standard release version and the open beta version which also feeds into the sub split between folks who only fly SP or only fly MP or fly a bit of both.   19. Yes, and if one is right on the edge and flying helicopters at low level on popular MP servers all the time the drop to a frame rate in the 20's hurts even more. So is not playable. Happy landings, Talisman
  20. Stable version no good for me and many others who are all about MP and not much interested in SP. Due to the DCS business model the beta version is more often than not the version used for the best MP servers. Happy landings, Talisman
  21. Regarding MP. Flight simulation is all about VR, MP and flying with friends for me, so DCS is now gathering dust on the shelf while I enjoy flying other simulations. Happy landings, Talisman
  22. I am not going back to flat screen but putting DCS on the shelf and using other flight simulations that work very well with VR. It is all about MP for me and I can't fly MP in DCS or enjoy flying with my squadron mates in VR, so it is all over. Halloween sale was a waste of time for me as it is pointless me purchasing products from DCS at the moment due to bad performance in VR. Version 2.7 was reasonable but 2.8 is a burnt stake.   23. Tried hot fix but fps still not playable as it was with version 2.7. Version 2.8 is a complete disaster for me. Can't fly with my squad and can't use DCS now and very much missing MP on the Cold War Enigma server as fps not playable any more in DCS with my VR headset. No good me even thinking about purchasing any new content for DCS as it is on the shelf gathering dust at the moment while I fly other VR titles. Hope DCS is working on better performance quality or this sim is over for me.
  24. Has anyone else found that DCS version release (yesterday) open beta 2.8 has adversely effected their SimShaker for Aviators? Then vibrations for me are now much too soft! Something is wrong. Talisman
