  1. The test in the track is as follows: start hot release parking brake start rolling right with some throttle then brake with right pedal - normal braking start rolling left with some throttle then brake with left pedal - you can see both wheels locked Something needs to be checked, @Silhou. F-14B_brakes.trk
  2. Web site says "DCS compatible" but to be sure of what it means you'd need exact details on the buttons and axes, info on if the emergency wing sweep lever is motorized (I doubt it) and such.
  3. All wing sweep controls are on the hat on the RH throttle handle. https://heatblur.se/F-14Manual/cockpit.html#throttle Make sure you have the electric power and enough hydraulics pressure while testing it. Also make sure the CADC responds by resetting it with the RESET button if you used emergency mode before or just after cold start. Make sure the lever of the emergency wing sweep is pressed down. https://heatblur.se/F-14Manual/cockpit.html#fuel-management-panel [#8] Emergency wing sweep operation is something entirely different and is the lever on the right of the throttle. https://heatblur.se/F-14Manual/general.html#wingsweepemerg You can move it by first raising the cover and then extending the handle. This is how it should work, I have not yet watched your track.
  4. It's connected to "visib. range" setting, at least on PG.
  5. I doubt it. It all is best used in MP tactics with human pilots. AI detection is too simplified currently. Their detection is based on radar gimbals and calculated from base values including some caveats like look down and closure speed afaik. That makes single AI as good as a wall, at least for detections. Of course 2 in synched orbit will get you uninterrupted search. But we already have line abreast formation, no need to add anything.
  6. There's no such thing as blocked cat in SC. You can only place static aircraft wisely so aircraft don't spawn in spots leading to that particular cat. If it's built-in mission, report in the module's bug & problem subforum.
  7. Just flew a night mission with Q3 - can't say I noticed anything like that. Can you show a screenshot or a short track of the effect? Btw, I wish they implemented eye's sesitivity so after seeing a strobe you'd have to take a long time to see better in the dark.
  8. Please stay consistent with flag directions or even better, make them waving with the wind set in the mission
  9. They're not baked in as images. They're consistent with the light direction as I can see so it is obviously normal mapping textures and it's far more realistic than simple flat texture.
  10. The whole save game should have a different approach from the start. Don't create new mission. Just save enough data in a new file that linked with original mission runs it again with the saved changes. That way campaign's protected files don't have to be changed or copied. Same with added mission content like sounds, pictures or liveries - they all stay with the original mission file. Adding checkpoints is not an answer because it already works and it's not a save game. Saving as a new mission could be an option, not main feature.
  11. It's in the same condition as exactly 1 year ago. If you're Eagle fan the module is a must have, no questions about that. For SP there are still couple dozen of built-in playable short missions and then some more user made content, including real gems ex. from Sedlo, probably the best DCS mission I played. We're missing campaigns though and mission creators are not willing to invest untill the resolution comes.
  12. They are in the core game, you don't have to install them to see them or place in the mission but you can't spawn or land on them until you install the Supercarrier module.
  13. You asked and I answered. It can be done and you as mission maker should follow the hints. If the mission works then the player slots will not matter. I'm just pointing out the obvious.
  14. They are based on the time from midnight [in seconds].
  15. Here: Short tracks and missions are welcome.
  16. You once again spread misinformation - firewall rules has nothing to do with the problem. The only thing worth from that video is at the 2 minute mark - the action part.
  17. https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/DCS_task_orbit
  18. We have to wait for the devs agreement and updates flowing again.
  19. Yes, I'm doing it this way. Moving mouse laterally also works. Still a long way to go up to 5k. What about that 4.5 stop?
  20. No, there's no extra content. You may enjoy simpler avionics and operation, that's all.
  21. No, that's not it. You have to have RWR switch set On.
  22. And what is the solution? The devs have already spoken. You want to hold all the updates for 2-3 weeks? I am IT guy and I don't let my users turn off AV software or make exclusions. I do that myself when false positives happen and they do happen. I also don't let my users install games on company owned PCs. Here's a free choice for everyone. Either play now and take a "risk" or wait a few weeks. I choose to trust ED/HB in this case. What you do is not my business.
  23. I remember someone already posted about it but can't remember the solution. Is the 5k radalt setting a real procedure? It takes a lot of time and rotations and gets only to 4.5. Tomcat bug? I'm not native but consider myself decent enough listening to english. Paco voice was so radioized that I only get half of what he's saying. I mean the guy just sits right behind me - was the ICS so bad in the Tomcat?
  24. The more pronounced buildings like churches are very likely to be recreated at least with the common model so I'd expect that to be entirely possible. If the stadium and hospital with a heli pad are modeled (there are such models ex. on Syria, including the wind farms, btw) you can fly such missions - you have to make the mission yourself though.
  25. Thanks for doing the first step but I need a bit more to cosider using the function: - full aircraft state (switches/sliders/rotaries positions, systems and mfd data, hyd/oil pressure/quantity, wear/damage, INS drift...) - flag variables data - resume last action/task/cmd - all waypoint and adv. waypoint actions
