Sini map looks good and well advanced, it the only new map im buying as it fits in with the Syria map and I love that map. Wingwing Orion 2 news was old news, ha ha had mine with the damper mod for 6 weeks now. No news on Multicore, Vulcan, ATC, weather (moving clouds and rain) core updates, Ai updates. Its seems to me this has been a slow year so far for DCS with improvements to the game, apart from the AI BFM updates, we only have 3 more patches to go before years end.

Hi YoYo, can you tell where to alter the VR views, which part of the lua alters the view, I I use your Mossie one, id like to try this with the Apache CPG and move his incorrect VR view to the right as ED only seem to correct the fwd or back position so far.

I moved to a Winwing Orion 2 setup, with NC-1 cams and the damper mod the bounce has gone completely, the mossie flies great now. -

I'm in VR as I have said many times in this post but thanks for the information again. I wish your suggestion would work for VR as it would make life easy, in another sim I play that I cant mention here, you can adjust the view in 2D for all the WW2 cockpits to position your head where you want it and hit F10 to save it and it translates to VR head position also which is awesome and very much the same as you mention. In DCS for VR we have to rely on the developer to fix it the correct position for us unfortunately, so we will have to wait for ED to implement the correct head position for the VR view or change some code and allow us to do what you have mentioned then save to the VR view also, this would actually be the best way. -

AT this stage in the Apaches development you will have to center the view your self to the seat center every time with the snap views (doesn't work in VR) All we can hope for is that the developers give us the correct centered view for the CPG (2D and VR) and then let us either adjust to center on the TEDAC or not, I honestly cant see why this would be an issue as all we are asking for is a correct view from the seat like the pilot has, and from what I understand is a .lua file adjustment (I could be wrong) -
Whilst the moving of AI ground targets is up to the mission designer for sure, its the reaction to the threat from us once we attack them, that would be up to the attacked AI as a mission designer can only script in so much, in all cases the Ai just stops of moves another 10 foot and then stops wanting to be hit again and in fact doesn't move after that, this is very apparent in the helicopters we are flying now where it just becomes a turkey shoot as the AI reaction to being fired on is very simple logic.

Also in VR me and my Apache buddies are still having to use the cockpit camera controls to move of head to the R to the center of the seat as we are sitting a little on the LH arm rest with the default VR view which is annoying but has been pointed out also. But at least George looks better from the back view now in regards to his head, I just cant see why they didnt move him right also at the same time

This is also needs a voice filter like SRS uses, it too hard to use when using Discord also, you cant tell where the voice chat has originated from, please dont say this should replace Discord, Discord is the meeting room, in plane coms is different.

This voice chat still broken tested it today with 3 players to see if we should switch from SRS. 2 can bring up the Voice coms window, 3rd player cant bring up the window with the default keys or binding any other key too it, it just doesn't show up. Update So 2 of us had it working using the F16 266mhz, both could use PTT fine (turns red), i jump into the COG menu to change the volume slider as the voice was loud, PTT stopped working, this seems very random, yesterday it worked fine, today its broken again.

The lighting under the current clouds doesn't feel dynamic to me as we fly under them its gets' really dark, and in real life your pupils adjust to this which is dynamic, in DCS it just stays dark.

We have a user who has been given this msg when trying to join our servers, we don't understand what this ban means and how to unban it. Anyone know ?? or can help

Ordered mine yesterday to replace my cheap TM MFDs :). Looking forward to them as they look great and i like to support these small developers.

Maybe they will tell us the ground AI (troops and moving vehicles) have gone from bad to better than bad and we can have some fun in ground attack helicopters without it being a turkey shoot. I'm hoping its AI improvements or some great core updates, they would be very welcome indeed, but it will probably be a module that will be added to my not buy list unless its the Typhoon, F15 or full fidelity Mig29....hahaha . Either way it will arrive in 2 weeks

We are all noticing how long it takes for the Bronco cockpit and then the airfield to become loaded in any mission we have it in, it also eats up about 3-5 fps online in a mission I have been running for years, when I added the Bronco in we had some FPS drops, but its a great mod and we all like flying it

Yep I know your working on and it will come in time, one day. Just lettings you know what my team is seeing at the coal face so to speak with our servers and our players sentiment, the only module I saw them excited about was the last one mentioned this week which generated the most comms on Discord in a while.

I actually don't care at all for any off the new plane announcements anymore, my self i'm losing interest with the core game which is what only ED can fix, being with DCS since the days of Lockon I have seen how it all works with news from ED, I really wish for more on what ED are doing with the core game, for example The AI, its pretty bad on the ground using helicopters against any ground based asset, that's its actually become boring playing helicopter PVE missions and this is using all of the excellent missions I can find on user files that some great mission designers have made, the Apache and the Hind have really shown how bad the ground AI really is, we have announcements that AI animations are being updated, what about the logic. The weather, the new clouds were great but the next update that was promised is taking a long time with no information for a long time from ED, the last I saw was a moving GIF that Nineline had somewhere. Vulcan and multicore, as stated still in early testing, I believe we are 3 years on since that announcement with its being worked on as the std line, I get that ther is nothing to show that we can truly see but at least a report every now and then on how its going would be nice. Combined Arms, nothing happening here at all from a game play point of view that I have heard about for a long time, it could be such an excellent module with some time spent on it. The core game needs an overhaul, my group ran 3 servers over the last 4 year, 600 players registered on our Discord, some time sup to 40-50 a night online over all 3 servers (mission dependent mostly PVE) we are currently down to 2 severs and luckily to pull in 10-15 players on a weekend with a good Foothold mission, with a core 5-6 still playing week nights, we are about to drop to 1 server due to numbers, if our players want PVP we send them off to boost the better PVP servers numbers I'm sure all the above is being worked on and no doubt I will be told all in good time.

I have drawn a large square on my mission on the map as an area to be a PVP combat area so people know where to go, when im in the mission and in a plane and use the F10 map view it doesn't show up, does it not work this way ?? Cheers Hotdognz
