  1. So I think this isn't a bug. The document describes boxing SIL will freeze the display (and box FRZ). Which makes me think the behaviour should be that an AOT displayed before SIL is selected will continue to be displayed and one that appears after SIL has been selected will not be displayed. What is interesting and perhaps a bug is how you describe that the AOT on the attack radar format will continue to update its azimuth even after SIL has been boxed.
  2. Ah so when a track is jamming it becomes an AOT (angle only track), and you are saying this AOT is only shown on the SA page not at the top of the radar page like youd expect? A quick test/question, if the AOT appears and then you enter SIL, does the AOT remain or does it disappear?
  3. What do you mean by 'interference source'
  4. See my statement, just because you don't know about the document doesn't mean the person posting and ED don't
  5. When you say 'nobody' you mean 'yourself' right? Because other people (ED included) have the documents that detail all this stuff.
  6. Hornets RWR definitely has ambiguities missing, it wouldn't be 'unrealisitic' as you say. What it's angular resolution is, idk. But it's ability to identify the emitter is frankly miraculous in DCS.
  7. Diverts happen for various reasons, but you'd plan to recover back to the boat you launched from. The jet you are flying will need to be used again after all, and if nothing else your pyjamas are still on the boat!
  8. IRL the controls are linked, so to pass from to the other you just put your hands on them. Obviously verbal coordination required to avoid fighting each other physically.
  9. Its not an AP failure, I've seen a similar thing on my own game I just dont use ATTH enough to bother reporting it.
  10. I'm 99% sure the CBU-99/Mk20 stores coding options are also incorrect. I did a massive deep dive on Rockeye fusing a while back, all from harrier reference materials so that's the last 1% of doubt.

  12. I think I can speak for most everyone when I say we want to update this. It's just a matter of finding a new document owner and finding the time to do it.
  13. Hopefully ED see how often this is requested and take note.....
  14. Are you in four bar scan? Not at home so cant check the track, sorry
  15. They say a picture speaks a thousand words, but a track speaks a thousand pictures. Run a short test mission, demonstrate the issue. When you exit the mission, the centre bottom button in the after action screen will read 'Save Track' Click that button and save it with a memorable name, eg 'HUD Wind Bug.trk'. Navigate to your savedgames folder, under DCS or DCS.openbeta>Tracks (the default save location unless you changed it), then upload the track you find in there to the forums so we can see exactly what is happening.
  16. That wont solve the problem. Any input will cause the GSID to drop, even if you have a curve of 100 and a saturation of 1%, it will still happen.
  17. At this point, most every issue with the hornets radar such as this has been reported. Some of them as long ago as 2019. The issue isn't so much the reporting of the bugs or the providing of the evidence. But more, I assume, finding the dev time to wrap up the hornet.
  18. When you say everytime, are you just trying it over and over in the same mission. Or are you flying in different directions and conditions etc. A track would be extremely helpful.
  19. The numbers I was told for a typical tank state was 3k. With a typical Tank+2 on the ball. So only 4k for case1 and 5k for case3.
  20. Precisely this. The AI ATC doesn't do cyclic ops, so we cant use it.
  21. So ACLS came out a while ago now, and it was great...for singleplayer. It relied entirely on button mashing through some F key menus to get it to activate which doesnt really work in an MP environment where you use a human controller and not the not-so-smart AI. Then it came out on Stennis requiring only a single F key interaction for the entire function to work. Fantastic! Except its only for the stennis. I think its about time we see a similar MP optimised function for Supercarrier too eh? So we can have a single F key interaction on SC to get the full ACLS approach as you can on the free carrier, or even better.... no F key interaction at all! Have it work like F14s used to work.
  22. I'm hearing the same thing over and over aswell. Combine that with the way that you cant do an interval takeoff in viper using the RL techniques because the wake is so strong you'll just flip. I think it is very clear right now that there is something wrong with wake turbulence across all modules. Whether its something like the magnitude being a fixed value regardless of the generating airframes lift and weight or something else, idk. But it is broken right now
  23. Thats why its called the 'Area Weapon System'
  24. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/2020-08-14/ FWIW, AGM-65L was listed at one point. It kinda faded though, idk why
  25. Something you can see happening in quite a few cruise videos aswell
