+1 german side doesnt have any serious bomber right now, its very limiting for missions.

i have no idea what caused this but all UI elements containing icons and so disappeared. it happened in the middle of a mission while i was looking at F10 map. restarting the game fixed it. i dont know how to replicate it.

not bug, performance tradeoff flat shadows means horizontal grey transparent texture at the objects base, thats it. and the terrain thing is as old as dcs. for some reason, dcs just cannot correctly compute when shadow of a particular object is still in players field of view, so shadows of anything keep popping in and out randomly.

so i take it back, it doesnt happen only on ground in novorossiysk i was now flying spit in normandy and i just saw it around me for a couple of seconds. this time intermitent, as the guys above me say. -
is this still a thing? i just had my sights disappear. its possible i did something wrong, i just bought the module and this was second flight. but as far as i know, i didnt press anything its reproducible from this x.trk

only SRS, hornet countermeasure programming and display export renaming. i tried it without them right now, its exactly the same. however now testing a bit more, i found out that its not happening with a-10c2 and l-39. it is happening with viper and hornet. it may be related to whats being rendered in the cockpit, which could also explain why the bug isnt visible with free camera. -

true but thats still a tiny problem. you can simply iterate over all groups belonging to a country and apply the commands. 20 lines of code.

more testing shows its happens regardless of preset selected or time of day. but it seems to happen only in novorossiysk. not in batumi for example. i also didnt see it in syria. and as soon as i lift of from runway, it disappears. -
hi this is what i see when viewed from cockpit, but not when in free camera cloud_bug.trk track requires only f-16 module, no lua scripting is involved.

you can do that with the ROE command, so they (dont) attack your side, and invisibility command, so your side (doesnt) attack them.

just a few points for better scripting this is completely redundant. you already have the group object, its "gp". this is completely redundant for multiple reasons: 1) "x == true" is the same as "x" 2) you just got the group object from DCS. that means "targetGroup" will certainly not be nil and isExist() will certainly be true. if either of those expressions werent as i say, the script would have already crashed at the getName(). correct. the only way to respawn a group is via addGroup(). you can also multiplicate groups that way: basically you want to destroy() the original and create a duplicate with addGroup().

its not a campaign bug, its dcs engine bug: its breaking so many paid campaigns and ED just doesnt care about it... -_-

nineline said on reddit that the 2.7 clouds will not have any customization, it will be only a selection from ED-made weather presets. making custom weather conditions will come later.

i used "take control" on the replayed track so it doesnt end when i ended it originally. it gets even weirder this thing is bf-109's wingtip, the plane gets many kilometers long... and rectangular. i think its because of lower LOD from distance. alright thank you both -

i have turned off the computer, booted up, ran slow repair and replayed the track its still happening it may be HW related but i think its not graphics related (card, drivers, ...), or at least not directly in sense of incompatibility. this is clearly a problem with physics simulation, you can actually see the remnants of my plane flying up into space in the background at 0:50 in the video. the log is talking about values of infinity. something in the physics engine is dividing by zero or something close to zero. maybe it is sensitive to FPS or perhaps stutter caused by loading sound effects of the impact (disk speed). one more thing: have you cycled through the bf-109s with f2 after the crash? its not part of the track i think. one of the bf-109s isnt getting deformed for some reason but its propeller effect and sounds are still broken. -
