reported TF-51 crashing into sea freezed the game

okay, i stumbled upon something absolutely insane replicating this with the following track bizarre.trk i found out that after the TF-51 crash, other planes in the game start deforming themselves and stop producing engine sound some of the planes also start flying sideways, start falling into ground and dont collide with ground, just fly below it -
hello i was just flying the TF-51 and crashed into sea after losing ailerons from overspeeding, syria map. as i crashed into sea, i was in f2 camera and this is the last frame i saw. the game then froze like this. notice the numbers in the bar - altitude is at least millions of feet and G is at least in thousands. dcs.log last lines are suspect: 2021-04-12 19:35:29.489 ERROR_ONCE WEATHER: getAtmoWind_w NOT FINITE POSITION 2021-04-12 19:35:29.490 ERROR SOUND: invalid host_params(CANOPY_SHOST): position velocity 2021-04-12 19:35:29.490 ERROR SOUND: invalid host_params(LEFT_GUN_SHOST): position velocity 2021-04-12 19:35:29.490 ERROR SOUND: invalid host_params(RIGHT_GUN_SHOST): position velocity 2021-04-12 19:35:29.490 ERROR SOUND: invalid host_params(TAIL_GEAR_SHOST): position velocity 2021-04-12 19:35:29.490 ERROR SOUND: invalid host_params(woLA-16779520): position velocity maybe numerical instability in physics engine creating values of infinity or NaN

yeah, they spawn too close and dont move because they are stuck in permanent collision with each other. this feature was always really unreliable, it seems that now its gone completely (for the past year or so). -

no hopefully one day BITs will actually be implemented -
or really show only the airfields you are tuned to. selecting the others wont work anyway and they only take up space in the menu.

seems like they are running out of assigned time and budget, and are cutting off functionality. speaking of which, i havent heard anything about emcon, gen-x, tald, mk 77 or seamines either edit: roadmap post from 10 months ago mentions them. i hope that its still valid.

some say the AI wingman must detect the target on his own for the command to work. i dont know if its true. generally the attack commands are very, very unreliable in dcs for all modules.

i believe the ILS/beacon bug happens for winds up to 6 m/s. iirc it happens to some airfields in nevada and persian gulf too (al dhafra?). it is a widely recommended mission making tip to set wind to either 0 or 6+ m/s for this reason.

They only take memory if they are used in the mission, just having them installed doesnt use any memory. Also, the topic isnt "its impossible", the topic is "its inferior technical solution". One uses more memory than the other one, despite providing the same exact function. Its preferable to pick a superior solution over an inferior solution. Also the location would be handy in other custom liveries. Hornet in Syria with a decent mission takes 34 GiB of virtual memory on my PC. No, I will not upgrade! The locations are unchangeable, defined in the model file. The livery Lua file can only specify which digits on which of the predefined locations are to be used, possibly with a custom font texture. But you cant add the locations. -

What is "our timeframe hornet and pod"? We dont know which particular piece of ATFLIR ED has documentation for. Just like with Litening, which ED modeled after a particular Spanish version, because thats what they had documentation for, and is wrong for "our timeframe hornet and pod".

Wiki of The Other Sim says that ATFLIR should create an offset cursor on current designation, that can be moved to a new position and ATFLIR can then jump to that offset position on button press. It is unlikely both them and ED would get it equally wrong. Perhaps the vids are of a different version. Same. I suspect the SCS action should only rotate TGP to offset and keep the current mode (point track etc.). Currently it does both, rotate and switch mode, simultaneously and inseparably, which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and has zero usecases.

razbam deleted all bugreports for all their modules in late 2020. they said there is too many and they are getting lost in it. fresh start.
