  9. you need to hold that to be allowed to designate DTT in real plane if i recall correctly. deka mentioned it before. it doesnt work like that in the game. i agree, it is concerning how weirdly the AA radar is implemented. my top gripe is tws tracks behaving like bricks.
  10. cannot replicate. perhaps youre accidentally doing tdc depress while moving it, that has no effect on SA but on radar page it will try to lock a thing at particular azimuth (even if no contact is there)
  11. the SEAD task is notoriously terrible in DCS. when building missions, its generally recommended to use Attack unit instead. not sure what the campaign authors use, or if they even can (given the mission structure) use alternatives.
  12. Big missing stuff: - some AA radar modes - all of AG radar - JHMCS datalink and AG functions - PFL and TEST page (!!!), there is currently almost no damage modeling - GPS-guided munitions - majority of DED functionality
  13. setting VHF presets repeatedly didnt work for me either, though in my case its possibly user error. i havent tried UHF ED will ask you for trackfile though.
  14. did you promote desired tank targets to system tracks first? TMS right only cycles through system tracks, or if there is no system track it promotes all tanks to system tracks. TMS right is not "simply cycle to next hostile track". i cannot link it here without breaking forum rules, but you can read more about this in MLU M1 manual, page 130 (as printed on pages).
  15. the ground rendering bug is not hw-related, its related to distance from player's plane. its far more visible with jf-17's cruise missile, because it has much higher video transmission range. this thing broke when ED added slam to hornet, its broken for 8 months now....
  16. yes your plane is even loaded with illumination flare dispensers and there are voice lines talking about nightvision goggles. even though its bright day confused me too.
  17. that should influence only rotation of the circle, no other symbols. in game, it changes difference between heading and track +1
  18. yes, it is caused by enabling TWS AUTO. radar elevation then gets stuck even in RWS, even if you return to TWS and toggle AUTO on and off, it still wont work. Tholozor's trick fixes it.
  19. indeed i would also like an explanation why this function works differently depending on terrain module used.
  20. i have noticed the track symbol issue as well. its as if the plane is drifting in wind, but there is no wind in the mission.

  22. @silverdevil there used to be a bug causing damaged landed air units to be indestructible perhaps its back in some form
  23. look what i found said to be "fixed internally" three months ago. thread was locked too, so cant even report its actually still broken. oh well.
