  1. Yeah, I think you should start from scratch. Just pack everything up and send it to me, I will get rid of it for you, so you got the room to do something new Damn, I'm so envy.
  2. As Hollywood started, there is a update for AIRIO addressing the problem.
  3. There is a new version. The only command I tested so far is target size, which works again.
  4. I think the manual is a little unspecific there.....took me quiet a while to figure out what is what and where to press One / two more pics would have helped me noob.
  5. The aux buttons are qwerty but they are also sensitiv to the right connector. If you don't get that indication, you might try to switch connectors (I was lucky to get them right in the first place) What I do, if the FCU acts up (got a early FW model), I remove the frond lid and briefly disconnect the battery, that resets the FCU. Helped every time, so far. If that doesn't help, contact @MilesD, he is pretty eager to provide great support.

  8. On these I'm with you. There are a couple of commands which don't work and which I would love to see fixed, can wait for Lantirn.
  9. But speed calls, how could they help? Speed, as in indicated on the instrument, is the only parameter I don't check after being downwind. Until then, given, it is kinda important to hit some marks, but that would be only the 350 (400 whatsoever), 300 for wings forward, 250 for gear 220 for flaps. After that my limiting brain forgets that there is a indication for that and I start to focus on AOA, altitude and sinkrate. Given, I'm still not confident that I can hit it with the instruments alone, so I glimpse at the HUD. Have to work on that.... I'm with you, coming from the B, the A is a PITA, but I believe it's just a matter of training.
  10. We didn't. Hollywood stated he will look at it as soon as the jester thing stabilized. From what I get, HB will still tweak stuff and then VAICOM will be broken again. I think I prefer to wait a little longer, since I was driving the Tomcat without Lantirn capability for a couple of years now, so 2 more weeks don't hurt.
  11. I believe you don't need speed, I wouldn't even know what speed I'm recovering. Just keep the AOA, that's all too it (Easyer said then done), speed will result from that...... Disclaimer: I'm a noob and the above statement is just my experience.
  12. You know what, your whining actually pisses me off. I just hope you are not a 10 year old boy, because then I would feel bad and would reach out to hold your hand. You know what the purpose of ECM is? Right, you don't want to get hit. So I gess F-14, M-2000c 100 points, the rest need to work on their equipment. Oh, after very long digging I even found out, ED changed the AMRAAM API. Don't know why it is such a secret, but maybe, now that you raised such a shit storm, they might admit it and work on it. Oh, just in case, that above is called sarcasm, which I consider fitting.

  14. I edited a few keys today (total Noob, took me forever) for the Tomcat. Pilot works, but the RIO edits don't show up. Any lead where I should start to look? I used @Munkwolf@Munkwolf base setup. Like I said, the pilot part works but not the Rio.
  15. Might understand you wrong, but I definitely don't have to high FPS in MP, especially since I fly in VR. Might be the other way around, in SP, there everything worked like a charm. (Same mission, same tool profile)
  16. I got a problem with this tool. As soon as I jump on an online Server, it seems that the tool is inputting the Data too fast for the Viper to keep up. Most of the time I got stuck at WP 2 or 3 with the tool trying to input Lat Coordinates in the Long position. Some hickups at the Radio programming as well, but that might be to the fact that it got stuck at WP and just getting out of synch Don't know what to do.

  21. I just did one ride in SP, which worked fine (the Lantirn training mission). I returned to normal ops (vaicom only) though, and will wait for the AIRIO patch.
  22. As Hollywood started, this is an unwanted state, but someone figured it out, but I can't find the post. So here the essence : .... I could do the mission with VAICOM AIRIO and the HB Jester wheel. Whoever wants to try it... 1) VA / VAICOM OFF 2.) Start DCS 3.) Start Mission 4.) As soon as in cockpit - start VA/VAICOM 5.) maybe map a button for the A key. Anyhow...this way I had the complete AIRIO capability AND the Jester wheel for all the new, shiny Lantirn stuff. Worked like a charm. Just in case. Starting a new mission, restarting the current one, resets this behavior and jester wheel gets disabled, so dcs has to be closed and then add above.
