Oh, I must have it in memory from before (few months ago) when I had other headset, and MR was there. At least I know I didn't set it to on now, since its not there So where else is it possible to enable/disable MR now? As @nikoel said, in OTT (ODT)? I use OTT. @nikoel as you can 2 posts above, I ASW is off. So this means motion reprojection is turned on?

The CPU is a hude bottleneck for sure. Specially when it comes to some missions, when CPU has way more work to do all the calcuations. GPU is almost idling at all times. About motion reprojection, I have turned it off in OpenXR Toolkit, so I don't know where else it could be turned on.

Is this app possible to use in VR? I tired my best, but no luck. Actually I managed to designate the green circle on the F10 map, then do the alt+tab to windesktop and click SAVE button in the app (all outside of VR headset, which was just there haning on top of my head - really annoyjing stuff). Would be so awesome to have this app inside VR one day.

I did as you said, turned on Application Render Timing widget. App motion-to-photon latency= 70-80ms!!!! WTF, how come is this possible? This is how I have set in OTT:

Quest Pro, 90Hz, 4090. No reprojection. I have Quest Pro to 90Hz, and when flying low (with lots of details) it draws at half of that (so at 45Hz).

Indeed my GPU is at max 40% which apparently means I am CPU bound. thx for simple explanation.

Affordable DCS Gaming Rig (non-VR) - UK
skywalker22 replied to ILoveRice's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Buy 13600K CPU instead. And make sure for a good cooling system, I would suggest an AIO water cooler for the CPU. Also go with a higher ram speed if possible (6000-6400MHz). -
How do I know if I'm CPU bound? I have disabled Hyperthreading for my 10700K in BIOS, and the game runs way smoother since then (this only applies for the current verison of DCS, since there is/are bugs regarding Multithreading). But to some how make sure if I am cpu or gpu bound, I can only help my self with an Rivatuner app (part of MSI Afterburner) and set the cpu and gpu usage to show them on screen. But even then, what I can see is that, if I am cpu bound, one of the cores (or threats, not sure what does Rivatuner it really show) is always at 100% of load. Is there any better way to find out to what am I bound to?

I can align as usual, and it gets aligned ok. You are not pressing the Enable Switch Depress for the 1st third of JHMCS alignemt process, check this out. f-16_jhmcs_align.trk

If this is how F-15E it should suppose to fly? If so, no thank you, I really don't like it. I am no expert what so ever, but this, this constant swinging up and down? LOL. Can't be made that way IRL, just can't.

One more question about re-installing app, quoted from the website: "If unsure, uninstall then reinstall Quad-View-Foveated in order to establish the correct loading order." Is this this app: OpenXR-Meta-Foveated Do I unilstall it? PS: I think this is it, 1st we need to uninstall OpenXR-Meta-Foveated (1.0.0 was named that way, 1.0.1 has different name).

.. if you follow steps on the link I provided, you can update as soon as it comes out.

I have VKB Gunfighrt Mk3, and I got no problem what so ever with anykind of deadzone (make sure you don't have any deadzones or curves set for the X and Y axis in contols - remove all). I think A2A refueling has become easy for my self in F-16, specially compared to the airplanes which have the refueling probe on the side (like F-15E, F/A-18, Jeff and so on). But I am sure I lack practice, which I have plenty with F-16. So practice, practice and more practice.

Not that much. Anyway, you can always get updates as soon as they are available, just follow this steps for the 1st time: https://www.meta.com/help/quest/articles/headsets-and-accessories/using-your-headset/quest-ptc/

@mbucchia so there is a new 1.0.1 version of Quad Views Foveated app? And with this new version, we can enable DCS in the OpenXR Toolkit, based on the describtion on this website of yours? I just wanting to make sure, I got all correct (in v1.0.0. OpenXR Tooling DCS had to be disabled).

Long? LoL. All 3 are the same

So having a monitor which has embed Nvidia chip for G-SYNC is better? I know what gsync does, it allows your monitor's refresh rate (Hz) to change dynamically, according to your GPU's frame rate (FPS). But is it actually better to see, better for the eyes? Is it worth paying that extra bucks?

Awesome

Are you sure?

MP is not the game? I am just saying AI is not human.
-
Do you have a proof in a matter of saved tracks, and share with us?
-
AI is not human. Go to some PvP multiplayer server, you will get a complete different opinion I don't use ECM at all, and I do just fine on PvP servers. It might only be good when fighting Phoenix missile, but even that it is pretty easty to notch (if you know you are fighting an F-14 of course). The thing is, ECM in DCS is/are prety simplicitic (there is only noise jamming), and quite far from a real world. In modern warfare the ECM works on deception jamming.

reported Markpoint option "TGP" not showing up when cycling through
skywalker22 replied to Moonshine's topic in Bugs and Problems
When coming on Markpoint page on DED (pressing keypad number 7), TGP sensor option is not shown as an option when TGP is Slaved to waypoint (the biggest cross on TGP). TGP being SOI or No SOI it does not matter: If it is to Area track or Point track, TGP option is there on ICP. And if you cycle with a dobber switch Right, TGP disappears. You have to press number 7 again to TGP appear. Is this is how it should be? All other sensor options like HUD, FCR and OFLY are always there. It kind of makes no sence, why TGP option woundn't be there at all times, pilot has to TMP Up to create a Markpoint anyway, right? Example track attached. f16_tgp_sensor_option.trk -
I have been thinking same question for quite some time. Great that I brough it up @WHOGX5.
