I can't seem to find it now but I'm sure I read that the SoH map was more like 110 GB to download/install ? It is specifically due to this number I read (somewhere on DCS Website) that I haven't purchased this map because it would only leave me with 10 GB of space on my already half-filled SSD. Can someone please clarify the True File Size ? Furthermore, does anyone know if it is possible to Uninstall a Map OR redirect where a map is installed ? If it came down to it, I'd gladly Uninstall Normandy to create space to allow me to install SoH "IF" the file is as large as I thought. EDIT>> Actually I just found what I was looking at in the Recommended System Requirements section where it states "Free hard disk space: 120 GB on Solid State Drive (SSD)". On the other hand for the MINIMUM System Requirements it says "Free hard disk space: 60 GB". So why the discrepancy ? Where did you come up with 22.3 GB for SoH Map ? That is a HUGE difference in required Drive Space.

I liked the Cargo Cam for accurate placement and release of Cargos. I liked dropping cargo under the Dockyard Crane Hooks as close as possible to where the crane hook would IRL pick up the cargo. However, I haven't seen Animated Dockyard Cranes since 2.5. Will DCS be bringing that animation back ?

It may only be due to the fact that the map is Early Release and maybe still a WIP that the TACAN is not yet functional. However, I am guessing. I really have no idea (nor do I have room on my SSD to install this map to find out for myself).

I guess I should also point out that I am using the Release Version of DCS 2.5

I wouldn't mind it so much if it were just barely turned on i.e. not so darn bright as soon as the battery power is turned on. Now if the cockpit lighting was On or Off by default depending on Set Times (eg. On anytime after 8pm and off any time after 8am). Otherwise, having it turned off by default makes perfect sense ... all the time. People should know where the switches are to turn the lights on if/when needed.

Actually there was another video that divulges the cause. It's an analysis of the engine failure. Here is the Link >> In it they describe that it "appears" to have been the Carburetor. The Pilot figured it was a fuel issue from somewhere between the Fuel Tank(s) and the Engine. I was thinking it was a Fuel Filter. But those that Re-Built the Engine indicated that it was likely only the Carb.

I can't zoom in/out in the Huey. So I should have posted in the Huey thread (I might have since my previous post ... can't remember).

I completely agree with Abburo. My only issue was with the Commentary Volume but I think that was addressed in Round 2 of yesterday's race. My daughter watched on Twitch for a little while yesterday and also commented on the Professional Sounding Play-by-Play Commentary. She was quite impressed with that and said if people didn't know any better they would think it was a Real Red Bull Race (not Sim). Thanks again for all the hard work.

I have tried every combination of settings I can click on to correct this issue but nothing works. Simply put, TiR Zoom In/Out/Normal (or Zoom Exterior In/Out/Normal) Does NOT work in the Huey UNLESS TiR is Paused ... which is USELESS. Please Fix ASAP.

It would be nice to get confirmation that Belsimtek is aware of this issue. I haven't flown the Huey for a while until today, only to find this is still an issue (I'm sure it was a while ago when I last wanted to fly it). Can we get this resolved soon please. I don't recall having options when it came to updating from 1.5 AND 2.1 OA to 2.5. OB All I know is it half filled a new SSD and I'll require a complete new SSD to install 2.5 stable (which was released shortly afterwords). I'm just sayin' !

Polychop Please Also include an Option for Mouse Aiming/Control of the Minigun. The default view blows too. Using TiR I can hardly view the entire gun's swivel range without my chin in my chest and/or looking over or around the frames of my glasses (which are HUGE ... just for TiR and DCS !!).

I hope it is being fixed so that it works With OR Without MSAA because I don't use MSAA. My video card4 doesn't like it in DCS.

I have a similar problem. I purchased a 250 GB SSD to install 2.5. (fresh install). IF I also wanted to get the Persian Gulf Map, it would leave me with only 10 GB on that SSD. I'm not sure that would work so well. Is there no way to redirect where a Map gets installed ?

Unfortunately, I tried those too. Zoom In/Out Slow and Zoom Exterior In/Out Slow. No Go.

Today is the 2nd time I have jumped into the Huey since the latest update. I cannot for the life of me, figure out what the heck is going on with my Zoom. It has only worked the same way for YEARS now but someone had to go change something. To view outside and zoom in on targets etc, I have always Mapped to a Hat on my Stick. Zoom In, Zoom Out and Zoom Normal. Now that doesn't work At All ! I tried Zoom In/Out/Normal and Zoom Exterior In/Out/Normal NOTHING WORKS (i.e. Nothing Happens). Furthermore, for some reason my Collective doesn't move in the Cockpit even though the Hotas is clearly recognized in the DCS Profiler. Some day I'd like to just jump into something and fly without issues.

Please go easy on the windshield dirt. I can do without it at all. My Ground Crew is nice to me. They keep my glass clean !

I'm unable to find the option for Mouse Control of the Minigun even with TrackIR. I can use TIR to aim but I'd rather use the mouse (better control for me I think). But I can't find any option for that.

I just don't get how something that wasn't even worked on (at least to my knowledge .. because there were no issues with the camera), gets muffed up with an update ? This sort of thing happens far too often. Things work great .... until there is an unrelated update. What a drag.

Actually disregard. My download won't be much longer. But I am curious if many others have experienced this lately ? I know there used to be a similar issue a couple years ago but it was resolved and download speeds were restored. I wondering if this needs attention before the next update OR maybe I'm an isolated incident ?!!

I just started to manually update DCS 2.5 OB today. It has been running for about 4 hours now. I noticed that the download speed started at 2.2 MB/s at the start. I went away for a few hours and now I'm uploading 10 times faster than I'm downloading and the downloading speed slows to 9.8 KB/s and hasn't gone above 55 KB/s for at least the last hour (total download time so far = 6 hours). Why is the download so slow now ? I have attached a screenshot of the DCS updater to illustrate what's going on.
