I use the F55 Rhino Hotas. I tune a slight dead zone myself for the center of my Cyclic and to overcome the center detent on my CH pedals (for all aircraft mods).

Excellent Interview and answers to FAQ's. I watched a video of real Gazelle pilots in training a while back and it was during said video(s) that I noticed Very Little Movement of the Cyclic during all phases of flight. As such, the PolyChop Gazelle seems to have modeled this reality very well. As others have indicated, I only ever use my Trim Hat to adjust my speed. I do Not use the Magnetic trim because it allows WAY more movement of the cyclic than one should ever need to use. The overall movement of the cyclic necessary is minimal.

I too am noticing significantly longer load times and probably FPS issues since the recent update. I do NOT use ANY add-on Mods in 1.5 open beta. I have a "conventional" HD. I haven't got $$ for SSD yet.

It appears this issue (which I too am noticing) probably only affects 1.5 open beta .. as far as I know. I know my loading times and FPS have taken a dump since the last update or two. You may also wish to look at the following related thread. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=181515

Hi ctguy1955 Long time no see/hear !! While I am NOT the spokesperson for DoW, I can tell you what "I believe" to be true based on communications with one of the higher-ups. But I am speaking for myself and not on Dow's behalf. The simple truth is that we are waiting for either DCS 2 Full Release and/or at least More Stable systems so that the Mission Creators aren't constantly having to frig with Missions every time there is an Update. As I'm sure you are aware, Good Missions take a ton of time and effort to create. So having to continuously figure out what's wrong and tweak missions due to updates, can be equally as time-consuming. So as far as I know, this is why DoW is currently offline. Furthermore, I believe some of the Admins have been busy with their private lives/families etc and simply haven't had time to maintain servers continuously. But Please Do keep an eye open for us. The server will definitely be back up at some point in the near future (I believe). Plus you are welcome to sign up for DoW Forums to stay up-to-date and/or be informed when the Server will be back online. Happy Flights my friend. Chris aka SnowTiger

SORRY ... Never Mind ! As mentioned .. I Must Be stupid ! I don't know why it either never happened before OR I just missed it ... but I never saw the F10 Options added to Comms in my previous flights. So there is NOTHING wrong with Mis 2 of the Campaign. It was ME !!

I must be stupid or something OR there is something wrong with the Mission Objectives for Operation Dixmude > Mission 2 : Night burglary. Amongst other things, the Mission Objectives state: 4) Go to the camp, destroy AA defenses and eventual armored. 5) Seek and destroy the artillery. As far as I could tell, there are 2 AA's and 2 armored vehicles at the objective. Then there are 4 Artillery units. Considering the Gazelle can only carry 4 missiles .... how are we supposed to complete this mission in 1 flight ? OR What am I missing ? I have flown it 3 times. I didn't read the instructions prior to the first attempt. But twice before trying the 2nd and 3rd times. I just don't get it.

I would think that the way DCS has set up EWR etc near Airports probably takes these factors into consideration (to try to make them as realistic as possible). Therefore, I would considering spacing things as you can see and measure at many of the airports (or "auto-generated mission" airports).

hreich ... did you ever figure out how to get the Cargo Cam and/or the Cargo Manager to work ? Those are two different but equally useful Cargo Tools. I don't have DCS open right now to remember the exact key commands they are but if you are still looking, I'll make a point of listing them here OR you can PM me to get them.

I also use both a Hat and the Stick for controlling the Vivian camera and for steering launched HOT3's. I find the Stick is a more refined control whereas the Hat is less refined and has a faster reaction.

Every time I go in DCS to look at my Licensed/Purchased Mods, it keeps asking me if I want to Install BlackShark 1 or BS 2 Upgrade. Although I did purchase, install and use the Upgraded BS, I ultimately purchased BS 2 (full) with hopes of eliminating possible future issues with BS 1 and 2 upgrade. How can I Disable or DIS-OWN these Mods that I no longer require ? Thanks in Advance. PS> I did take a look in the Profile and clicked on a few things but I didn't see any way to disable or un-authorize the BS 2 Upgrade Mod.

Hey Dojo, has that "poking around" gotten you anything (I mean besides a rash !!) ?? LOL

I appreciate the solution to resolve the red line problem BUT does this mean I can no longer Zoom OUTSIDE the aircraft ? I don't care if that ability is realistic or not. Until I can see objects with better definition, I will continue to need the ability to zoom. This alone may be enough to keep me from being able to really enjoy the Gazelle.

Okay actually, I figured out where the file(s) go and that the First File does fix Mission 1. But that then what are the other 2 files (with the same file name as the first file !!) for ?

@mrxels I downloaded your Mission Fix files but I'm having some problems figuring them out. When Unzipped, it appears ALL 3 files have the exact same file name, thus they are trying to overwrite each other before I can place them into the correct location (wherever that is ... haven't gotten even that far yet). Is Polychop going to ever fix this problem ? It would be very nice to try this Campaign out without having to jerry-rig everything.

Maybe you could Tune your Cyclic with a bit of a Dead Zone to offset or eliminate the Offset the Center Portion of Cyclic Movement.

BTW - This issue eliminates the ability to Zoom IN/OUT on anything inside or outside the cockpit. Furthermore, it makes the Campaign even more difficult to follow (as if the Campaign wasn't already too complex and confusing enough !).

F-5E TIR Issues in DCS v2 OpenAlpha I have the exact same issue. The Attached Images illustrate that this is an issue solely with the F-5E (in DCS v2 OpenAlpha) and is not consistent with any other Aircraft/Mods. 1 image shows the issue/error and 2 other images are examples showing that this is a problem ONLY with the F-5E.

@CR4ZYHOR5E There may be an easier or faster way to achieve your goal. What HOTAS are you trying to configure AND for which Mods (Aircraft) ? PS> You are welcome to PM me as the subject matter might sway from JSGME.

I'm betting most of the triggers are euchred. There were about 4 missions that were mucked up a couple years ago that someone (can't remember who) fixed. But there have been so many changes and updates, I doubt it will ever work again. I was never able to get past the first few missions before it all went to pot on me. I haven't bothered with it since. That said, I believe initially it was a top-notch campaign (i.e. really well created). It's too bad we can't get an up-to-date/working version.
