How to switch to sidewinders?

If you are in MRM and have AMRAAMs selected how do you switch to sidewinders? In falcon bms you pressed nose wheel steering button and it swapped to sidewinders. How do you do it in dcs without pressing osb?

You currently don't...

Dogfight mode should technically select them + cooling. Doesn't do it in DCS rn.

It only switches station but not missile type right now.

It should be with MSL step button pressed long. But atm you need to click the aim120 in the SMS page

MSL step button pressed short will cycle stations with same missiles

Is this something that will be implemented in future, has that been confirmed anywhere?

I would be good to be able to switch to Sidewinders without having to take my hands off the HOTAS.

Agreed, was in a fun dogfight with a MIG29 and had to take a look at the MFD to change and lost sight of him, really need this to be on the HOTAS!

Yes..NWS / Missle Step long is to switch between AIM120 and AIM9. Unfortunately, it doesn't work here. I hope for an early fix.

How are you locking targets on the radar? What is the command called so I can map it.

Thank god you guys are talking about this, I spent an hour trying to figure out why it wasn't working. Decided to see if someone brought it up yet. So we just need to wait. ;)

Workaround for the time being...just program osb7 to a button...works for me until solved :joystick:

Is there a key to switch missiles in AA mode without using the OSB button? The MSL Step button isn't doing it, which I thought was the key to use. Same question in the dogfight override modes?

I am thinking of a workaround for this: assigning the respective OSB button (second on the right row I think it was) to one of my keys on keyboard, and using it only then (like SHIFT + SPACE or something similar)

Choose dogfight mode, AIM 9 will be selected automatically. Now you can choose the ACM modes you want.

Missile step switch is the answer, but not working at the moment between radar and heat.

MSL Step Button in A-A Mode

Can't remember but should the MSL Step button be able to cycle between different A-A missile types (eg, from Aim-120 to Aim-9X) when it is held down for a bit? At the moment it cycles between stations of the same A-A missile type only. Thanks.
