McBlemmen Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Is the mig 15 going to have a russian cockpit? If so , will there ever be an English one?
theGozr Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 (edited) I flew many time on MiG-15 RL :) It will be very interesting for me to see how they render it. Edited October 6, 2014 by theGozr Fly it like you stole it..
ED Team NineLine Posted October 6, 2014 ED Team Posted October 6, 2014 (edited) Guys, try and keep it on topic, this thread is about the MiG 15, if you have no interest in it right now, then you should really have no interest in commenting in this thread... I am going to add this: 1.10. - Product feedback and constructive criticism is encouraged when provided in a mature and courteous manner. However, feedback that is abusive, insulting or condescending is not welcome. Additionally, up to Bring A Particular issue Repeatedly After it has already Been Acknowledged will be Considered "trolling" - in such Cases A Warning will be Issued to the Author and the Post will be removed. If I see the same people posting the same thing over and over about how they wont buy this because of that, after EB has acknowledged this, I will start handing out warnings... its getting old guys... please mind the rules. BST has heard you... Edited October 6, 2014 by NineLine Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
SgtPappy Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I for one, am very excited. It will be great to fly this and fight human-controlled MiG-15's online.
kazereal Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 (edited) This should be interesting. For one as counterpart for the F-86 Sabre. And for another reason as there is history of it in Finland as well: there were a few Mig-15UTI models in Finland for training pilots in transfer from Fouga Magister and deHavilland Vampire to Mig-21 before Mig-21UTI version. At the time there were also Saab Draken and Folland Gnat used in those times which could be interesting to see some day in DCS too ;) (Just another wish on a long list of planes :D) Edited October 7, 2014 by kazereal "I would have written a shorter post, but I did not have the time."
Chain Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 This should be interesting. For one as counterpart for the F-86 Sabre. At the time there were also Saab Draken and Folland Gnat used in those times which could be interesting to see some day in DCS too ;) (Just another wish on a long list of planes :D) Yes the Finnish Air Force bought four MIG-15 UTI aircraft. They were built in Czech Republic (by Aero) and they were locally known as CS-102 in Czech service. It was called "Mukelo" in Finnish Air Force. Mukelo was an expression for something that is short and stubby :D One of the four aircraft crashed (pilot ejected) and three planes are in museums at Halli, Tikkakoski and Vesivehmaa.
