Now next plane is related with the logo... so another WW2

He said name not logo, which is why the interviewer responded with 'Marines'.

On another note, I won't say anything about the two of them agreeing that the A-10C was released in 2008.

Actually the name of the studio. Leatherneck...The term "leatherneck" was derived from a leather stock once worn around the neck by both American and British marines.

So it's anyones guess to which Marine plane will be simulated, but I said it before. I believe it will be the Harrier. :)

Well it'll be a US Marine aircraft, and I guess we have a pick from the aircraft shown in these two lists:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Leatherneck_Aviation_Museum

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Marine_Corps_Aviation#Aircraft_.26_armaments

I don't think it'll be a WWII aircraft since Cobra said they weren't leaving jets anytime soon, but who knows other than LN right now (and producing a WWII aircraft doesn't mean they are leaving jets). But I agree with Raven that there is a good chance of it being a Harrier if it is a jet. The other jet I would put forward would be the F-5E, as it is used by US Marines as an adversary in training (F-5 would also make a good compliment to the MiG-21).

Great interview. But you should buy wearable mics. The sound (echo) is horrible and makes the speech hard to understand.

nice interview.really waiting for their next module announcement. my guess its a hellcat.my hope its a p38.

I think it'll be a Hellcat too. After the long creation period behind the Mig-21 they'll probably need a cash injection from a quicker to build plane which will allow them to get all the Mig-23 work done.

Since I cannot watch the video at work, could anyone resume the latest gossip?

If their next aircraft is going to be a Marine jet, the list of possibilities is not that extensive:

F9F Panther

F9F Cougar

F2H Banshee

F3D Skyknight (two seater)

F4D Skyray

F-8 Crusader

A-4 Skyhawk (being done by VEAO)

A-6 Intruder (two seater)

AV-8A/C Harrier

AV-8B Harrier II (being done by RAZBAM)

F/A-18A/C Hornet (C being done by ED)

F/A-18D Hornet (two seater)

F-4B/S Phantom II (two seater)

I do not expect them to work on a complex two seater at that point, not before ED has released their own proof of concept module themselfe. So I would tip on either the classic AV-8A/C Harrier as a Marines signature jet, the F-8 Crusader as an excellent match for the MiG-21 or the Panther to go along with the Sabre/MiG-15.

If Cobra said they don't leave jets yet and it is a US Marines plane... But there is a F4 wildcat all over the Leatherneck site... And MiG 21 needs an adversary... And Belsimtek changed plans and moved forward MiG15bis so Sabre has its manace...

Then...

My bet is on F4 Phantom.

Its a Marines plane

Its a jet

Has F4 in name like the F4 wildcat

It is MiG 21's manace

It is a new challange as it has dual seat and ED will introduce this with the new L39.
