Griphy Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 The picture looks more like a Su-24 than F14 to me. The F-14 got two tails. Looks like one tail in the picture. Maybe its just the angle. Whatever i cant imagine if there is a Su-24. My dream might come true :D Thank you for the news LN. I don't know for you guys, but I've been seeing the Su-24 in a lot of previews of DCS 2 (in pictures and videos). I don't know if they are hints or just static objects, but it's certainly interesting.
Darkwolf Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 I'm totally destroyed having waited all night long for no update but since they are sausages in the fridge, i won't mind. :P Congratulation for the new team members and for the devellopment of the studio. I wish you success ! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] PC simulator news site. Also....Join the largest DCS community on Facebook :pilotfly:
nick10 Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 I think they are building a ww2 carrier. That's a 20mm flak gun in that pic. Hellcat plus carrier makes me happy.
will487 Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Just realised the F-14D is the only one out of the Su-24 and itself to feature the oval bit just forward of the tail fin. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Lilkiki Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Great news form LN ! Thanks Nicholas ! It is obviously a Tomcat shown in the "teasing" picture ;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
badaboom Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 "While plans may change, we currently hope to bundle two small theatres for free with both of the aircraft we're planning to release this year. Both theatres are significantly different from each other and will require the construction of a lot of content that can be re-used down the line." W O W This is Great,Great News. Will The Theaters be announced Monday as well?.....or maybe at least one?:cheer3nc:Please [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Gargoil Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 It's a Tomcat, no doubt. I'd prefer an Su-24 but it was about time to add a US plane to the game
Gargoil Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 The real question is, how did they solve the two-seater problem?
MiG21bisFishbedL Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 1 Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!
Cowboy10uk Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 The real question is, how did they solve the two-seater problem? Don't think they have yet, believe it's a new feature that will appear after DCS world 2 is released. But sadly everyone is stuck waiting for ED at the mo. However with the amount of 2 seaters being developed or recently released, I'm fairly confident it will be arriving some time this year. ChoSeungWan Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Any ideas on what the ground-radar module is? Probably a two seater? I would love an A6 or anything similar.
Slipp Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Any ideas on what the ground-radar module is? Probably a two seater? I would love an A6 or anything similar. F-14D hopefully. :music_whistling:
McBlemmen Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 "we plan to release 2 aircraft in 2015" I cant wait to fly something late 2016.
T0x1s Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 After taking another look it is clearly an F-14. The real question is, how did they solve the two-seater problem? I guess that by the time the F-14 will be out the multi seat problem will already be solved in EDGE. Might also be why Belsimtek is creating the Hind.
joey45 Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 It does look like a Tomcat.... But....... Look at the tailing edge [flap?] and towrds the rear... Unless it's a really early WiP shot. PS. Congrats to the new team members. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
