2.5 dependency was not mentioned as far as I know. Only that ED need to integrate the copy protection for the texture pack and depending on how the testing of that effort goes the release could be a couple of weeks past the initial planned date given by Starway. So we'll probably hear something either way later today I would guess.

 

Just further to that then, can we assume that we can use this texture pack without any issues when the Caucasus goes from T4 to T5 and into 2.5?

 

Also, I seem to remember ED mentioned something about a new mesh for the Caucasus map. Is that due to be released with 2.5 and again do we know if this will cause any issues for this textures pack? Sorry if this question is dumb, but I'm not a map/ texture expert.

Probably this is one of the reasons for the realease delay of this DLC and not just the DRM, there are lot of things in the work for future updates and DCS evolution that we're not allowed to know ATM

It all depends on the testing and the implementation of the copy protection. Could be this weekend, but don't hold me to it. :)

 

There seems to have been a miscommunication about the projected release date. While we would ideally like to release on 6 May, it could very easily be late May depending on how the creation of the copy protection proceeds and testing.
