Which Christmas :D

Weve been seeing a lot of Cacusus map upgrade and 2.5 too, my gut feeling is 2.5 wont be released until at least Q2 to Q3 2018, and mid 2019 for the Hornet early access.

Forgot to add ;) - I'm far from expecting Hornet and Hormuz this year ;) Interesting though is that recently there is more updates on the Hornet/Hormuz than new Caucasus. Anyway, great video. Bit short but still the progress DCS is making at least on the visual side is amazing

It would be nice to get some updated release date estimates for the Hornet and the Tomcat.

I think the newsletter that's wrong, the Ju-88, A-20G and C-17 appears on previous newsletters before today, talk today about "new" develops has incorrect.

Was show on the WIP Screenshots some time ago

Has better put them as "continue on develop and texture in progress", not bad see them over Normandy.

There is nothing wrong.

Is entitled as " DCS: World War II Assets Pack Update"

So is an update about the NEW AI 3D models. Because they are new. No other word can describe this models. They are updating the info about the new models with new pics, camo, etc.

Keeping us informed is great, but I'd appreciate even more if they were meaningful. Today's update was anecdotic at best ; I'll keep waiting.

With each day that passes, a 2017 release gets less likely. There's your estimate. :)

▲ well, i think it's not a surprise

last week we did not get update(s), so i guess this friday we will have updates for both beta and alpha because of the upcoming harrier module ;)

the BIG surprise would be the merged 2.2/2.5 version

Let's hope the next "alpha" update is actually 2.5 to usher in the updated Caucasus map.

That would be great but a major update as the new Caucasus is and release of the module are probably too risky to come together. The map can come any time but broken module, even at alpha release would be a disaster.

F/A-18, F-16, F-14, M-2000C, A-10C, AV-8B, AJS-37 Viggen, F-5E-3, F-86F, MiG-21bis, MiG-15bis, L-39 Albatros, C-101 Aviojet, P-51D, Spitfire LF Mk. IX, Bf 109 4-K, UH-1H, Mi-8, Ka-50, NTTR, Normandy, Persian Gulf... and not enough time to fully enjoy it all

i agree with this assessment. furthermore the release of something as significant as caucasus 2.5 would be foreshadowed by more fanfare than yet seen imo
