The new ATC/LSO functions ED is working on sound great and will be much appreciated for sure but, there is no substitute for a live human performing those actions. The guys in VFA-113 did an outstanding job of adding an overlay to the game that allowed a player to take on the role as an LSO. I'm wondering if we will have a similar feature on the new carrier?

Will simpit builders be able to export the MFDs and other gauges from the F-18c like we can do with other modules; specifically like the A-10c? And does ED have any plans to make these exports easier? Specifically, multiplayer servers have integrity checks that often disable exporting these gauges.

With the DCS Persian Gulf map being close to release, and stating it could easily be expanded..along with a DCS Syria and DCS Afghanistan map being in development..

When sun is shining from behind the MFDs are becoming unreadable. Are you planning to add pilot shadow?

 

I was flying the SU-33 in VR and same thing happened. Then I realized that I was unintentionally trying to move my body to prevent the shining :)

 

I am not sure how it works in real life because the pilot will have harness.

I wish!!! This would be a great addition to the NTTR map, because for a long time its been dead in multiplayer. Even before 2.5 update. We need some new life to this map and bring the playerbase back

AFAIK the Nevada train models are very similar to the ones that drive threw the Persian Gulf.
