Fjordmonkey
Same conversation keep happening. One would have thought people got the message by now, but nope. I've always boggled at the fact that people can't seem to understand that if you put two Vipers, even when you take two from the same Block, you can have two VASTLY different aircraft in terms of capabilities just because of the variants in the different software-versions of the two jets... Regards Fjordmonkey Clustermunitions is just another way of saying that you don't like someone. I used to like people, then people ruined that for me. mvsgas
max22, Sorry, it seems you are taking it the wrong way. He is not talking about you specifically but the forums in general. Shadowxp, =Panther=, and many other here have vast knowledge of the F-16. I bet it can become frustrating to them to answer something just to see the same questing posted several more times in a row. If you go through the forums you would see most post in the last 2 weeks in regards of the F-16 have been posted for years. Edited September 23, 2019 by mvsgas To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true.. Fjordmonkey
Pointless remark. People will keep asking questions and there's nothing wrong about it, and the fact that you have some knowledge doesn't make you special My comment wasn't aimed at you or anyone else specifically, it's more of a general observation. My point is that IF people learned to search for things instead of just taking the easy way out every time, they might learn a few things. Asking a question is not wrong. But asking a question because you're too lazy to look for the answer for yourself first, however, is. In my opinion, anyway. I have some hands-on knowledge about the Vipers, yes. Or, more specifically, of the Block 5, 10 and 15 OCU/MLU's. This doesn't make me special in any way, shape or form like you rightly said, but it does seem that my ability to use a search-function does, however. Silver_Dragon
When was that image taken? An important but often overlooked point... That image I think has a MOD or other simulator (if that is a simulator, of course). No SBD and rails 3D models has implemented into DCS. And the version build by ED has not implement SBD by Block and year. Edited September 24, 2019 by Silver_Dragon

Davee
We must start with ******************************************* "We" and "must" should never be used when giving your opinion. Harlikwin
I know how it works IRL. I’m asking how DCS will implement it as it’s a new thing in the Viper (and will it become the new universal standard (eventually?)) From what I can understand it will be a feature on the viper, and will later make it to the F18, and presumably at some point to other modules (A10, F5, Mirage2k, Harrier, F14 etc). The question that Wags didn't answer is whether the JTAC system will be updated so they can change their code to designate for you, and it probably should be since that is the way it worked IRL for LGB's. Mavs/hellfires PRF codes can be changed in flight and in that case would usually listen to the FAC/JTAC. As a bit of trivia lower PRF codes are preferred since repeat rate is higher and they are therefore a bit more accurate. New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog.
