Fang333333
I think most of us serious pilots will be happy to wait a day or 2 more for better results. I'm interested in knowing some of the details (in layman terms) of what the cause was for the performance drop. This was actually what I was looking for yesterday when I posted the topic about a status update. As per the use, it seems alot of people have misunderstood my questions and intent of posting a thread. Was it mainly a memory leak? Or something caused by bad cpu allocation? Just curious to know what caused such an uproar. Side note, i'm finally gonna be adding the one elusive fighter I dont have... the M2000! I waited since xmas for that one. jasonbirder
So it'll be an absolute bare minimum of 3 months (probably will be more) for an update to stable... Is there any reason some of the less problematic changes/fixes couldn't be tested for stability and then bundled into a stable release... IE: Fixes to 3rd party DLC etc? But nevertheless take your time to get things right. It's like one with the flu. Let him rest 3 weeks instead of one before he gets back to work or he will be down again immediately. Well, I once said I was in the 20-22 range and then one up later at 30. That was on an almost empty map with literally no additional assets at the airport... Although the stutters occuring at the same time when having some V up probably could very much be related to this.

That argument is completely invalid. I expect bugs but not straight up game breaking issues that render most of the game unplayable. ED push all enw modules in the OB branch, new aircraft fetures are pushed on OB, 99% if MP servers run OB. This should be beta and not alpha. But whatever, offtopic. Glad you won't listen and still only believe what you think the game is. ED are listening and welcome ur suggestion but the fact remains your incorrect and not sure what part you don't really understand. "We operate two versions of DCS World, the Open Beta version and the Release version. Because DCS World is a "living" project that changes daily, it's possible for a project-wide bug to work itself in and make the game unplayable for all. To prevent this and add a level of protection, we adopted Open Beta and Release versions." https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/ Read for yourself if your not willing to listen to others i guess. That being said I am sure the pressure is on at ED right now with the promised EA of the Supercarrier due in days and 2.5.6 being the pretty nightmare it has been. We were not told the patch was coming today, so them delaying until tomorrow is really not a big deal. I just can't wait to be able to do some traps again.
