Zeagle
Just began my first sortie in 2.7. All I can say is a great big thankyou to ED. The weather is amazing. And thanks for the waypoint number in the MiG-29 HUD. Keep up the good work

OG84
yep thanks a lot. I get much less reprojection going on with 2.7. First thing i noticed is this performance increase. Hope the cloud jittering is on prio though. Also being on the ground in the first f16 red flag campaign mission is now finally smooth. But I'm on the very high end hardware wise, so will only speak for myself: Good job guys and girls! Hogges
I just spent an hour aimlessly flying around and found myself continuously laughing out loud at how good this looks. Not just the clouds but also the, to my eyes, vast difference in lighting creates a simply fantastic experience! What a time to be in this hobby. Thank you very much to the whole team for making this a reality!

LooseSeal
Yeah I'd also say job very well done to the ED team. I started up an 'Overcast 4' over the Persian Gulf, and to be honest I wasn't expecting a huge reaction, but wow... it became immediately apparent just how much this is going to change tactical gameplay, especially once the AI has line of sight limitations. Not to mention how beautiful it is! Flying over a properly cloudy land is a totally different experience. I sort of understand what it must be like to be a pilot in the RAF now, haha. Cloud, cloud and more cloud. Even more than that, it's going to add a lot more variety for 3rd party campaign designers in terms of how the weather plays a part in their missions. Someone commented on here recently how the weather updates were "just a cosmetic thing". They couldn't have been more wrong. 2 - i7-7700k - 32GB DDR4 2400Mhz - GTX 1080 8GB - Installed on SSD - TM Warthog DCS Modules - A-10C; M-2000C; AV8B; F/A-18C; Ka-50; FC-3; UH-1H; F-5E; Mi-8; F-14; Persian Gulf; NTTR

WarHawk72
Love the new update, and no noticeable performance drop flying over Beirut low and fast and then pulling back hard and cloud chasing. Had to reduce my view distance from extreme to ultra but everything else was maxed and still getting 65 fps over Beirut and 100+ when cloud chasing. Have a older system: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X. 2070 Super. Ram 16 gig 3200MHz. Acer 27" 2560 x 1440p monitor with 144 refresh rate But all i can say is WOW ED amazing job, i love the new update. Thank you.
