I feel this is overlooked.

The new airbases are OUTSTANDING. Puts Caucasus and any other map to shame. As I sit here updating my server with the new map making new objective and spawn points and captures each new airbase looks awesome and I cant wait to see what comes next.

Your hard work and attention to detail do NOT go unnoticed!

Looking forward to the next update!

Yes thank you for the continued efforts on this map. As mainly a helicopter pilot the detail at low level is amazing. No matter where I fly there is always something interesting to look at. So much I end up just flying around rather than doing any combat!

We just need more quality campaigns set on this map. It deserves to be used more.  I can’t wait to see what you do with the planned Cyprus expansion to the map.

Thank you again.

Yes, at times it can look stunning and is great for just enjoying flying around at low level in helicopters. Sadly, static pictures don't really do it justice, I swear these screenshots looked about 20 times more impressive when it was in motion:

Just got Syria a couple days ago and I have to say, it is by far the best looking map so far. This is how DCS should appear like on all maps. The perception of depth is outstanding, something I missed with previous iterations of the other maps.

Performance is ok, still stay above 60 with fairly high LOD.

Good job !

HP G2 Reverb, Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate as standard. OpenXR user, Open XR tool kit disabled. Open XR was a massive upgrade for me.

DCS: Pixel Density 1.0, Forced IPD at 55 (perceived world size), 0 X MSAA, 0 X SSAA. My real IPD is 64.5mm. Prescription VROptition lenses installed. VR Driver system: I9-9900KS 5Ghz CPU. XI Hero motherboard and RTX 3090 graphics card, 64 gigs Ram, No OC at the mo. MT user  (2 - 5 fps gain). DCS run at 60Hz.

Vaicom user. Thrustmaster warthog user. MFG pedals with damper upgrade.... and what an upgrade! Total controls Apache MPDs set to virtual Reality height with brail enhancements to ensure 100% button activation in VR.. Simshaker Jet Pro vibration seat.. Uses data from DCS not sound.... you know when you are dropping into VRS with this bad boy.

This is great how much they have developed map further.

I hope to see some future additions when tech gets better (like more clutter etc).

I have been a ED Community member since LOMAC...I got used to all The right angled terrible terrain in Lock On and Black Shark I just enjoyed The Aircraft systems and Flight Model...but

never The terrain.....Until Now.

I just finished one of The most incredible flights I've ever had in any simulator ....In VR...The Hind overflying Cyprus...Low n Slow.

During this flight I needed to pause the sim several times and make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me.I won't post any spoilers here as I'd hate to ruin anyones first time experience with this map.

But The terrain detail/vegetation /and custom 3D objects are beyond stunning and really made me pause in Awe!!!

IMHO Cyprus alone is well worth the price of the Syria Map.

Thank You very much for your hard work and Meticulous Attention to detail.

Hey, Ugra Media team:

Just wanted to shoot you a quick "WOW!" regarding the recent several updates. The map is looking REALLY good... particularly from higher altitudes! The dense cities from altitude look amazing! Well done.
