ChuckJäger Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 I haven't noticed this before today's patch - but the TGP model appears to be stuck in a forward looking position - even though it's working fine in (moving) in the cockpit. Sorry, no track file this time. 1 VFA-113 | Stinger 307 | "Hank" USN OEF OIF Veteran i7-8700K OC'd 4800ghz | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080Ti OC'd | 32gb RAM | 2.5TB SSD | Odyssey + | TM Warthog HOTAS |
JGS Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 tgpstby.trkI've noticed this too. Track file attached. TGP is in the open position, and doesn't move or close when selecting standby or switching power off to the pod.
AvroLanc Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 This is confirmed here as well. Just about to post Bug report. I'll add my track here as well instead. The TGP functions correctly on the display/internal, but the exterior 3D LITENING pod head is fixed looking straight ahead. Thanks. F16 TGP Animation.trk 1
skywalker22 Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 (edited) Thats is a new bug definitely. Example 1st pic: where is TGP looking from JHMCS, and 2nd pic: how it is actually positioned. Edited January 27, 2023 by skywalker22 2
swartbyron Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 (edited) +1, Ive noticed this as well. The TGP camera no longer slews or parks and remains fixed strait ahead no matter what. It operates normaly internaly but is permanently in snowplough mode externaly with no animation at all. Edited January 27, 2023 by swartbyron

tu_papi Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 Noticed that no matter where you slew the TPOD, it does not move from the forward facing position in external view. Stowing it stows it on the MFD and shows STBY in all modes, however it also remains in the forward facing position as well in the external view.

JeRe Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 On the F-16, after a recent update, the TGP rotation animation stopped working for me. The TGP itself works well, but the external model always looks straight ahead. Even if I change TGP to STBY mode. Or turn off the power completely. It doesn't matter if I launch the plane already in the air or on the ground. Before the update everything was working fine. Does anyone know how to solve this? P.S. Unfortunately, I speak English very badly. That's why I use google translator. I hope you understand me. -

ShaoFu Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 My AN/AAQ-28 Litening Targeting Pod model won't move on my F-16C. Is this a new bug or what? I verified my files already(Steam).
razo+r Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 Is it just the model that isnt working, or is it the whole TGP with video feed thats not working?
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted May 24, 2023 ED Team Posted May 24, 2023 the bug is just the model's animation not working, the pod itself works It is reported threads merged thanks 1 Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Eagle7907 Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 I’ve noticed when you select STBY on the TGP it will show the video goes blank, however the pod outside will not move to the stowed position. I’m pretty sure it is supposed to. Oops, forgot to mention this is using MT version. Ghostrider313 Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 I don't know if it is just me or the I'm doing something wrong. The guide says that for takeoff and landing you should put the targeting pod in standby to stow the pod to prevent damage. Well I never see the pod in a stowed configuration. The seeker head unit should be turned 180 degrees so that the glass is facing the back of the pod. I never see this. During rearm and refuel and changing the configuration of the aircraft and installing a pod you always see the seeker head with the glass. Any chance that this can get fixed? 1
