Thanks! Dispensing flares or chaff works now  

Tested the RWR with a Rapier, works too. Got hit and pilot disappeared but gunner was still there

Where did you install the mods? I guess not in the saved games folder?

Exactly, in this folder, under Mods>Tech (Aircraft)

Saved Games\DCS\Mods\Aircraft for the module, the extras I don't remember.
Could you post a screenshot of the complete path?

Edit: And if you by chance installed in the core installation by mistake. You need to remove them. Easiest way is to do a full repair.

You NEED to install it in the saved games folder. There is the description on the release page. Please read it

Seems correct. Are you SURE you didn't put them in the core folders at first. Try a full repair.

Cheers for the update lads. Installed it and had a little run around. Love it .

Skids seem better like they are, more forgiving. I've been flying other helis lately and you forget just how lively this is. It's a blast.

Enjoying tearing around the little mission. Think I frightened the Schoolbus driver a bit, he went off road trying to lose me but pulled back into doing laps.

Brilliant job.

Quick question. Is it correct as is that the landing/hover light needs to be turned on before the searchlight can be turned on? Makes sense I guess since you'd be close to the ground. 

There is a manual that talks about an IR Searchlight. Not sure if it is the same thing.

"An IR searchlight is mounted on the right underside of the aircraft (31 , fig. 2-1 ). Power for operation of the IR searchlight is provided by the SRCH LT PWR and SRCH LT CONT circuit breakers. Operation of the IR searchlight is controlled by two switches on the pilot's collective (fig. 2-13 ). The 3-position switch labeled, ON-OFF-STOW, controls illumination and retraction. The 4-position switch SRCH LGT, labeled L-R-FWD-AFT, provides extension, 360° rotation and retraction of the IR searchlight."

Well this turned out to be a real gem. Only thing left now is learn to land and take off with dignity. Once in the air I can do everything and I mean everything. Not a loach expert but it fly as I imagine it does. My take off and landing skills is lack of hours and all on me

As far as I'm concerned, if I have as many rotor blades at the end of the flight as I had when I started, that's dignity enough...

This is a general muti-player mission on the Marianas map that's been featured on several youtube videos.  Based on this content, I was asked to post so others could check out.  My group uses this as a go-to Vietnam period experience.  Please take this and make it your own.  If you get enjoyment from it, that's awesome.  I do not intend on maintaining this moving forward.

Thanks @Hawkeye60!  We still fly this mission almost weekly.  The Cayuse is so much fun in this setting.  I just checked - 459 downloads, wow!  I never would have guessed that many people would be interested.

Anyone seeing this behavior after the 1.4 Patch?  This is happening on the VAP pontoon, but not when on a "regular" helo pad.  Maybe I have something installed improperly...
