Thanks for the info hardly need to explain yourself though an update is always welcome an your hard work on them is apricated. They come when they come  . the spoiled children in here well not this thread to be fair but the complainers an wingers throwing their weight around as if they were important are an out right embarrassment they'd get a clip around the ear anywhere else,  kids today !  we are not all like that . most of us just really enjoy any work you do an want to  .. There are 2 mods in the user files that fix it i don't think ED are aloud to touch it while the stuffs going on

If they werent, they wouldnt be trying to patch it. Shouldnt have to modify my install to get something they said they were going to fix. Not a big ask at all.

i didn't think a fix was mentioned in the patch was it?  . an no probably not but do you want a fix or not. There is 2 in the user files if you do

BigNewy and 9L stated they intended on fixing specifically that in this patch. If theres one thing that should be fixed ASAP, its that. Thats the most complained about problem right now and the very least would quiet up some people for a week or 2. I dont expect them to, Im merely asking for that thats all.

Thank you for your transparency, ED.

I disagree with many of ED's priorities these days, but I deeply love DCS.   I suppose we will have to be patient and wait for the next update.  It's possible that ED may have bitten off more than they could chew by putting too much new content in this new update without working all the bugs.  It would be wise for ED to balance the updates with a mixture of new content and fixing issues.  If anything, ED should have one update be 100% repairing bugs and postpone new content once in a while.

I will applaud ED for addressing the F-15E's radar issue.  Whether or not they get around to it remains to be seen.

Yes mate, I am with you on this, poor wording in the communication is not their first one either, that why official communication cannot be taken exactly word by word. For example, by definition, this forum (web site) is also a social media, it's just we grew to understand social media as apps on smartphones. 

Discord can be a waste of time, I agree, but also gets you direct answers, many times Bignewy and NineLine responded to my direct questions honestly and to the point.

That is not true, most likely you have missed it as it is the same post comment that is being edited, but all 'changes' to the update release timeframe were on Discord chat and a minute later in the forum post. It's even visible if one was to scroll back Discord as community posted screenshots from the forum post.

I remember when beta version stopped working after an update coz ED wanted to keep the date and did not take time to test. We communicated with our pitchforks and ED improved. 

It is unfortunate that the new bugs were discovered, but I preferer less bugs and wait that the other way around. Besides it's just a game, that offers so much currently, updates are welcomed but quality is even more so.

...and you are 100% sure that specific fix isn't causing one of the game breaking issues? So you can assure us ALL other modules are fine, if they do that? Or should they, maybe look at it and do some testing before rushing it out?

is it? is it the reason why this patch was delayed? they way I understand it and the fact that there are 2 mods that fix the issue, its just a file that needs updated.  why would a file that pertains only to the F-15E radar break other aircraft or DCS as a whole?
