Wow, nice update.

Everytime i read they are working on further F18 MSI functionality i get a  hard-on 🙃.

Also lovely to read that AIM7s might stop being useless against jammers (looking at you M2000), but i need to test that in MP.

remove all unofficial mods and run a slow repair or verify if steam. If you have no luck check antivirus isnt creating a problem and post your dcs log on the crash forum area.

If you look at the history of DCS Updates, you'll see it's not that simple.

We got 1.2.14, then 1.5, later on 2.0 parallel with 1.5 and then 2.5. So it's quite random it seems.

Eh... No, Because we can have 2.9.11 too. Current version is actually 2.9.9.2280, which could give us Hotfix 2.9.9.5893 and Campaign patch 2.9.9.8125 even before we get 2.9.10

Spent 1.5 hrs on 4YA PO server and was smooth as butter (only 3 players but plenty AI) looks promising.

Brakes on 190 and 109s feel a lot better and more realistic, have not tested P51 yet.

  • AI: Mitigating Pave Spike issues by giving the plane a Laser Designator:

    • (this allows the AI to also lase bombs without Pave Spike equipped, but that is better than not being able to lase at all)

  • AI: F-4 AI learned how to use the trigger. Fixes most weapon issues. Remaining:

    • CBU-1/2 "pods" (AI thinks its a normal CBU, not a dispenser)

    • If the AI goes for a DIVE attack it tends to overshoot slightly

  • AI: Fixed incorrect definition of Pave Spike Sensor

 

  • Missions: Updated several training missions:

    • Lesson 05:

      • Removed 2x external tanks from aircraft (according to lesson plan)

      • Set internal fuel to 80% (according to lesson plan)

ED - thank you for the last 2 patches. The amount of "Fixed" showing up in these 2 patches has definitely not been unnoticed, and is a real encouragement to many of us. Please keep the 'fixes' coming. 🙂
