RVT2403 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Can we have an option to disable these cringe Hollywood effects client- and server-side? 2 -
Phantom453 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 A lot to digest with this patch. Thanks ED for all the work. 2
Mustang Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Got the patch, thanks ED and team Been on Grayflag Persian Gulf for several hours, it seems to running much smoother overall and others have commented the same, switching from map to pit seems a bit snappier and scrolling and selecting client slots seems smoother too, good impressions so far 1
Hotdognz Posted March 20 Posted March 20 I tested save mission. Single player. Spitfire. Spawned. Shot all ammo. Taxied some 100 meters, nosed over (broke propeller, tail up). "Save Mission Caucasus2.miz". Quit to desktop. Restart -> "Mission Editor" -> Open Caucasus2.miz Select vehicle (Spitfire) again. Spawned to spawn position (not 100 m meters down, off rwy), fully intact. The only thing saved seemed to be out of ammo. Unless I mistake how to restart a saved mission. But why then would ammo be depleted? My understanding is your supposed to save the mission with the extension .sav not .mizSent from my CPH2333 using Tapatalk
The Stick Posted March 20 Posted March 20 (edited) Something in the update is getting flagged by Defender - likely a false positive (update doesn't go through without it) but nevertheless... Edited March 20 by The Stick 1 1

It´s a false positive. Heatblur has told on their Discord channel that this might happen for some. You can make an exception in Defender for tat file, or better for the entire DCS install folder. 2 | i7-10700K 3.8-5.1Ghz | 64GB RAM | RTX 4070 12GB | 1x1TB M.2. NVMe SSD | 1x2TB M.2. Tried again, this time airborne, saved while flying. After: - reloading saved mission (into Mission editor) -clicking the little green "fly mission" icon getting "MISSION OVERVIEW" screen - click start, get this error message: Mission cannot be saved due to errors! Aerial-1: All waypoints (2-2) have locked speed and surrounded by waypoints 1 and 2 with locked time! Wasn't trying to save, was trying two fly, some kind of auto save failed I guess. Mission is as vanilla as they come. No waypoints. Literally only placed a Spitfire "spawn rwy" Batumi took off and saved mission. No "triggers", nothing else whatsoever. ~ summary things learned: - if taxi on ground after spawn, position and damage client plane not saved. -if saved in air, need to have waypoints otherwise error. - not a bug necessarily, just limitation: Noted client plane details not saved: taped gun ports, gunsight on/off, assume we get a pristine plane with a set of defaults settings any time resuming mission. Darcaem Posted March 20 Posted March 20 What do the new TRIGGER CONDITIONS "ABSOLUTE TIME MORE" (and "LESS") do exactly?Just a guess but, could this mean time passed since the actual mission origin? If mission starts on time 0, you save on time 100, then next mission runs for 20, an "absolute time more == 120" would trigger at this timestamp???I do hope is this, because I was wishing for that exact trigger jejejeEnviado desde mi SM-A346B mediante Tapatalk
Nealius Posted March 21 Posted March 21 Is there any documention on the tanker anchored orbit settings? 1. What does "hot leg bearing" do? 2. How does the track width affect bank angle?

gulredrel Posted March 21 Posted March 21 Is there a separate bug section for reports about the new save option!? What would be needed for a ticket? track of the mission and than the saved mission file? I encountered a destroyed takeoff from ground helo to be in a different position (helipad) as being alive after loading the saved mission into ME. Also some other inactive units have been transported to different places although they were not involved in action in the flown mission.
