ED Team NineLine Posted 20 hours ago Author ED Team Posted 20 hours ago Added to FAQ: Do I want this if I already own the Flaming Cliffs version? If you are a fan of simulation of complex real world systems, then yes, you very much want this. The Flaming Cliffs version for everything but FM is very simplified for ease of use, based on what Flaming Cliffs was meant to be. The MiG-29A Fulcrum will be like learning a new aircraft, from navigation to employing weapons and all the challenges expected for this complex Russian fighter. 3 Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
YoYo Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) New video! Quote NOTE 1: When is it coming? We are still shooting for this month, but we cannot give an exact date until testing is complete. NOTE 2: In a later video, I'll discuss the ADF Panel. NOTE 3: I am not at liberty to discuss 3rd party products. Please keep comments on topic. NOTE 4: I'm still just learning this aircraft, so my skills (particularly in in-close IFR), need work. I know. NoPro Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Wags mentioned in the last video that using the DTC function, we’re able to use more than the mentioned six waypoints (3 AD‘s and 3 WPT‘s). Does this mean, using the DTC function I can create a Flightplan with let’s say 15 waypoints and the navigation system is able to alter between these in auto function or did I get it wrong? Second question, maybe I missed it. What does the beacon buttons do? Wags selects #2….because I understood that the NDB‘s are selected via the com rotary on the left console. Thanks in advance cheers

Maybe someone can correct me.
Vakarian Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago It was quite clearly explained. You can have a as much points as you want, but the aircraft will know only 6 of those at any time and of those 6 only 3 can be airfields as you can assign only 3 points to the Airfields tab in the DTC and 3 points to the Waypoints tab. What wasn't touched on (or I missed it) is can you update which points will be loaded in the aircraft while on the ground only (I assume so as the ground menu is the only way you can reach DTC interface while in-cockpit). 1

He did also mention that can use any of the airfield points, as extra way points (you don't have to put them on airfields) You will just have to switch still to the AB position to use those way points. Thanks in advance cheers No I believe it's just like in the MiG-21 NDB's are selected using the bottom part of the navigation panel on the right depending what navigation number they have been assigned to. You rotate the nob to the correct number, and make sure the switch is set from RSBN to ADF. Use just use the comms pannel on the left set to ADF to tune into the correct comms channel to hear the morse code, to confirm the it's the correct NDB the ADF is listening to. I believe the beacon buttons are just a quick way to select specific programed channels without have to select them using the navigation nob. Edited 2 hours ago by CrazyGman
Hawkeye_UK Posted 48 minutes ago Posted 48 minutes ago Just caught up with Wag's video's and cannot unsee the helmet sight optics flickering either side of the HUD control unit, aka in direct eyeline, pretty annoying especially the RHS which has alot more white in the image flicker. Looks like there are 2 metal levers above them is this some slide down door to protect the glass and can be shut when not required (aka 80% of the flight). I'm asking as in VR this will be even more annoying - can there be a special option to have these static, its enough to make me not buy the module and sure it will annoy others also. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DCS & BMS F4E | F14B | AV-8B | F15E | F18C | F16C | F5E | F86 | A10C | JF17 | Viggen |M2000 | F1 | L-39 | C101 | Mig15 | Mig21 | Mig29 | SU27 | SU33 | F15C | AH64 | MI8 | Mi24 | Huey | KA50 | Gazelle | CH47 | OH58D | P47 | P51 | BF109 | FW190A/D | Spitfire | Mossie | CA | Persian Gulf | Nevada | Normandy | Channel | Syria | South Atlantic | Sinai | Kola | Afgan | Iraq Liquid Cooled ROG 690 13700K @ 5.9Ghz | RTX3090 FTW Ultra | 64GB DDR4 3600 MHz | 2x2TB SSD m2 Samsung 980/990 | Pimax Crystal/Reverb G2 | MFG Crosswinds | Virpil T50/CM3 | Winwing & Cougar MFD's | Buddyfox UFC | Winwing TOP & CP | Jetseat
