I'm really looking forward to this. Its a shame they couldn't get Ft.Irwin or leastwise the north part of it in there.

You guys will really love the new ground AI. Really breaths more life into the sim! :)

Hey I just noticed this

Nevada Map. Home Nellis Air Force Base and the famous Area 51, this desert map encompasses much of the Nellis training range and is a great location for training mission, Red Flag exercises, and gunnery competitions.

Area 51 IS modeled!?!?!?!? Haha I knew it!

Im hoping this means that it isnt that far away ;)

But, it doesnt look like we'll be getting vapor effects this time around either... :\

Great idea to implement the active pause, going to be very usefull for training purposes.

Will it work online though? That way squads can set up detailed system training missions.

The new mission editor functionality is of course also a great improvement.

As well as the improved AI, can we let amphibious vehicles also cross for example big lakes like the ones near Krasnodar?

And the whole other lot i just readed as just as good, thanks for publishing ED.

Hope it will come soon, but no earlier then when its done.

And as someone else said in this thread, DX11 isn't mentioned in the long list of features/improvements? Might be something to add under the "improved grahpics" heading?

A gorgeous, extremely immersive combat flight simulator, modeled after a modern era Western aircraft that hasn't been overly modeled in this community, and will obviously be extremely well coded thanks to ED's dev staff, with the ability to fly in the States AND in Crimean sorties, closely related to TFC: A-10C DTS used by the ANG... it almost brings a tear to my eye :smilewink:.

All very nice news... same as DCS Ka-50 and FC2 this is on To-Buy list :)

Someone asked already earlier and I was wondering the same thing... will we be able to display MFD image on secondary monitors like in Black Shark... and if, can it be done in full screen mode?

I'll throw my hat in:

To any beta testers running multi monitor setups, and if you can squeak it past the NDA:

Is multi-monitor support streamlined and made easier, and is the fps hit as severe as in BS when exporting both mfds to separate monitors?
