borchi_2b Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Hi, simple answer to your question is, that we have not made a decision about a civil version yet. We will decide as soon the Viviane Hot is published. There will probably follow an update later too which might expand the model itself. But again, no choice is made yet. Further info around christmas I guess. cheers Sven http://www.polychop-sims.com
Jacks Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) I was disappointed to see that the gazelle was not added to the ME nor was the gazelle AI model added in this hotfix. I assume the gazelle can not be released until these are added in a future update? :( Edited November 7, 2015 by Jacks System Specs: i7 8700k @ 5.0GHz (not delidded), ASRock Extreme4 Z370 MOBO, EVGA GTX 1080 SC 8GB, 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz DDR4 RAM, Samsung Evo 240GB SSD, Samsung Evo 500GB SSD, 1TB HDD, Noctura NH-D15S Heat Sink, Acer VE278H 27" 1080p Monitor, Ocukus Rift CV1. Paradox Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 what flight model will it have? I don't think helicopters even work in DCS without a very advanced flight model. It should be excellent based on what I've seen.
Aginor Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 There is no helicopter SFM, so it is an AFM. DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet
Flogger23m Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 My understanding is that this will be a payware title correct? Might want to edit the original post because it still mentions it will be freeware. Might confuse newcomers.
QuiGon Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 My understanding is that this will be a payware title correct? Might want to edit the original post because it still mentions it will be freeware. Might confuse newcomers. Apparently you haven't read the entire post, because it has been edited already and clearly says that: Hello, As suggested by Wags, here's my call for help. The french attack helicopter SA342 Gazelle project is planned to stay "freeware" and is on the way. I need every document you may provide (drawings with measurements would be cool, pilot manual, everything could help...) Concerning DCS specific 3D design, evrything concerning files structures, collision model, etc... The max info I get the best it will be. I already got blueprints (hard to use as usual because of the distorted pictures), lots of walkaround photos, datas from "Armee de terre" site, some published docs, and some info from the ED Wiki and from here. If you have any specific Gazelle doc, please share. At the moment, I'm mostly working on the DCS mod install with dummy model. The main lod 3D Design is in the works too. As soon as I have something to show it will be here. Thanks. EDIT 26/07/2015 Dear Simmers, Since its first stages of developpement the module was planned to be free. Things have changed now. The Polychop-Simulations team has been working hard at the module for 2 years now (3 years total for the module today) to bring it at the DCS standards, 3rd party status, licences costs etc ... all this makes it impossible now to release it free. So, the DCS Gazelle module will NOT be free. hannibal Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 wooowooowoowoowowo i am also excited for this. i can't imagine the VR experience with this... back in the oculus rift development version 1 days, i tried a demo called "heli hell".. the graphics were pixellated, but the 3d-ness was amazing! in heli-hell, the game puts you in a little bird type helicopter- i could have spent hours to look at the ceiling of the canopy, just to look at the main rotor blade, that was one of the most impressive thing i saw in early days of VR.. i cant wait to fly gazelle in VR!!!!!!!!!!! find me on steam! username: Hannibal_A101A http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197969447179
Derk Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Truely a labour of love, she shows it. And that's just the outside! I am already grateful for all tthe time and effort you put into her, looking forward to meeting her in pixel-person. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
