Chlebakus Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 I think Chlebakus and other people here have no problem with developers and their work. Everyone understands, it's very time and money consuming. The main reason of this fighting is because Razbam just posts a list of products, which are very unreal to get anytime soon and people get frustrated about it, because it looks like they are working hard on it. If they would proceed like Belsimtek or ED, their most actual goal will be more realistic and people wouldn't be so confused about it. We can see huge amount of work on their T-2 already. I don't care right now....I'm enjoying my UH-1.:) I was pretty dissapointed when I found out I wont get anything from these RAZBAM machines. Their product list is very promising, but unreal by now. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Chlebakus Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Here is my take on it, and how I approach it... if a dev wants to tell me something... great, if they dont, so be it.. I am not going to sit on their door step till they do, I am going to move to the next door.... know what I mean? I know what you mean. They are not bound to tell us anything. Maybe their approach is a little bit unfair. I wonder if there is some kind of contract with 3rd parties. You can really announce anything here if you are labeled "developer"? In RAZBAM case it seems so :( [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ED Team NineLine Posted August 6, 2014 ED Team Posted August 6, 2014 I know what you mean. They are not bound to tell us anything. Maybe their approach is a little bit unfair. In RAZBAM case it seems so :( I am sure ED sets some guidelines but at the end of the day, 3rd parties and Partners manage themselves, and their product line is of their choosing as far as I am aware of.... MacEwan Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Even with all this bickering back and forth, the question still stands. If a developer announces that they are working on a project, does that prevent any other developer from taking on the same project? If it does, then shouldn't developer be bound by some contract that requires the actual development of said project?
ED Team NineLine Posted August 6, 2014 ED Team Posted August 6, 2014 At one time we had 2 F-15E's in development... I dont think any 3rd Parties can "lock in" an aircraft. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**

Not certain what (If any) rules there are, but I know that ED is working on the F-18 and there is another 3rd party dev that is as well... I think ya dev can work whatever project they want to and we as customers decide which module we will support with our checkbooks... "Pride is a poor substitute for intelligence." RAMBO

bigcountry Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 To avoid all of this bickering. The 3rd party devs shouldnt post things or any announcement until they nearly have a beta version. Just sayin Communication is Key

SkateZilla Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 To avoid all of this bickering. The 3rd party devs shouldnt post things or any announcement until they nearly have a beta version. Just sayin -RAZBAM Had an Internal Alpha version with F-15E Cockpit integrated and partial systems- I'm Pretty sure, in order to have their own sections, they have to submit Proof of Concept, which may or may not have changed since I've last seen it. Winfield_Gold Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Filmed on a pentium 486 with overclocked to 50 MHz?
skeemo Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Filmed on a pentium 486 with overclocked to 50 MHz? Just to re-troll to your troll comment: "Pentium 486" is total nonsense, as a 486 and a Pentium are different processors. The Pentium was also sometimes called "586", derived from PENTium (as in PENTagon). Trollmode off. :smilewink:
elchacal Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Filmed on a pentium 486 with overclocked to 50 MHz? What did you expect of an "internal alpha version"? Don't you know what it means? :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Alexshreds Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 This is what they have for FSX. Most of the forum polls about the DCS development of the F-15E haven't had a post since 2013 to my knowledge but they are working on other modules such as the Mirage 2000.

The Mirage 2000 section just got an official update 3 days ago: Hi Everyone, We have been working mainly FSX on the Mirage and now that we are winding down and coming to a final build we started integrating into DCS. Kenan Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 ^^No. It's been here for ages with very rare updates on the progress (if any). It should be either closed or the Razbam folks should finally focus their attention to DCS and not FSX. ED didn't open a suboforum for them for no reason. If that was the case, I'd promise a jar of cookies I'd be working on for the next 3 months if you open a special sub-forum for me. You dont know what is going on behind the scenes... they have closed other subforums, perhaps there is good reason for this one staying open... again, if it bothers you so much, just ignore it... but you have stated your suggestion, good enough. EchoMasterMind Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 I don't see any logic in closing the subforum. At all. It's not like there's a lack of space on a forum. Neither is it 'in the way' of anything. Just have faith in Razbam. I'm sure they are hard at work :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
