How do I get rid of that annoying 'autopilot' help text that appears on the right side of the screen when in the cockpit?

There's an option on the TAB for the Huey in Main Menu > under Options > Special(?)

Look for "Weapons Hints" ;)

Edit: there's also a Key combo to de/activate it. Look it up under Controls

First time ever flying a helicopter sim, I had a great time. The video is in Swedish so the commentary might not be interesting for most of you, but at least the visuals are international ;)

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

At the beginning you where way to fast... keep it at about 60kn... make a 180. when you are to high... or slow down... it is possible to do Autos with Zero Speed, if you are high enough.

Posted

How do I keep from going too fast? Right after the engine quit the nose went down about 45* and I was holding full aft stick the whole time. The nose wouldn't rise until I gained all that speed.

Give it a little collective. You'll have an easier time, as counter intuitive as it sounds.
