Me too, positive rep that is. I look forward to these threads almost as much as wags post itself.

+1 If you don't like it, don't read it. It's not as if it's not clear what it is from the title :)

BTW, isn't forum rule 1.4 in effect for these threads?

There unnecessary and above all disruptive. They also contribute to the fact that forum searches on certain topics are next to useless cause pretty much every keyword is mentioned in these threads.

Causing that what your interested in to be buried somewhere your never gonna find it.

Really, if these threads keep popping up, then i'd rather have Wags not posting any updates at all.

People don't seem to like them anyway and only use them to flame ED whenever they need to come back from a previous statement due to problems.

Or complain about topic X or Y not being covered.

(how often have we had bitching and moaning about no news of F18 now?)

guys, remember that Wags is limited in what he can tell us as well. He´s not on the top of the ED Company and has to obey his supervisors orders. This means...if no news about things you guys personally prefer are mentioned so it doesnt mean that there´s no progress at all...so calm down and be happy that we get weekly updates at all

What's wrong with the thread?

Isn't a forum a communication place ? You don't like the thread, you don't read it - period. :noexpression: We have enthousiastic people here that are eager to get their DCS drug dose for the day. I'm one of them - connecting several time every friday to check for those news thread and related discution. I'm quite pissed to see such negative reaction. :(

Oh yeah.

1.4. - Posts/threads that undermine the actions of the forum staff, such as opening threads that are redundant, disruptive or deal with topics that have been previously locked, will result in administrative actions against the user.

Where the hell is it breaking 1.4 ?

Actually I doubt those thread undermine in anyway the forum staff - I'm sure they would be the first to tell it.

As far as it goes, threatening a member with negative feedback may break 1.2

1.2. - Members must treat other with respect and tolerance.

So please, stop ruining the joy of those who love the game. ;)

Oh yeah - posting the date in the thread in the future would be a nice idea. Can a mod eventually edit the thread name ? At least someone had a constructive idea and said it in a constructive way.

Peace and love and lots of virtual ponies.

Bye.

Now that's a much improved intro for Steam! Definitely more appealing to the casual viewer.

Perhaps it should be the first video shown rather than the very informative, but rather tedious 32 minute masterpiece...?
