That car is completely ripper apart... obvious sign of speeding

I know I sound harsh to say this but looks like they were asking for it... in my book you drive like that you deserve to crash... everyone knows speeding is dangerous, not only for the driver and passengers but for people on street, other cars... etc.

I know currently it's an utopia but governments should prohibit and ban to use cars above 100 horsepowers and cars above 80mph/140kmph maximum speed on public streets/roads/higways all over the world - in germany as well where absolutely no speed limit on some highways

100 horsepowers is more than enough for a normal car.

Stronger and faster cars must use/go on a racetrack ONLY.

Another utopia: trucks should use other roads - and railways by trains - than passenger cars - i think you can understand that why.

Now i use a car with 200horsepowers but i can easily and happily give up that half of the power - or more - if other drivers and cars will do the same.

Lets take away all cars and ride horses again... , but then we would have to ban horses because to many people get kicked in the head. Basically your thought process is asking to be put in 4 padded walls.

RIP Paul.... pretty cool dude

You can take a serious or deadly injury by riding a bike or even walking...

I know you mean it well, but there are already very strict rules for the technical condition of the cars and the highway code. It would be sufficient if everybody will know and obey them.

Yep, but when you are so severely mentally impaired that you can't even walk without possessing significant risk to the others, you will probably be held in asylum 24/7. If you want driving license, on the other hand, all you have to do is to pass the test, and you can buy the most powerful car right away. Nobody will ever ask if you're actually responsible enough to handle a

scooter.

Road transportation is probably the most dangerous way of travel ever, yet it is easiest to get license for it. Absurd? I think so.

sure, transportation by horses is much more safer, healthier and environment protective both for the mankind and for the mother-earth :)

honestly can you see the two extremity ? horses vs cars with hundreds and thousands horsepowers - i only said: 100hp i more than enough for a car - to get from point A to point B

while of course we can take a serious or deadly injury by riding a bike or even walking

maybe he could live even today if he would not have sit in a fragile carbon fiber made fast porsche without ESP but sitting in a slower and safer volvo or jeep - or if Walker is the car driver

as i always used to say: to sit down into others car is always a huge risk :(

RIP

I am afraid that I agree with Kuky here. It is just a shame that a passenger had to get killed because the driver was an idiot.

That. If somebody is stupid enough to kill himself for his pure idiocy, honestly, I don't give two s**ts. Just don't want me to be sorry for him.

But, the sad part is, such a moron possesses huge risk not only to his life (which he probably doesn't care about anyways), but also to the lives of his passengers (as in this case), or even worse, anybody who happens to be on or near the road at the same time. The question is, if somebody deliberately acts in a way he knows is very likely to cause death to others, how come it's not a murder attempt?

Because that would not fit the legal definition of murder, at least in most of the US.

Guess what? We are ALL going to die... You can roll yourself into a ball and cocoon yourself in a nice tight plastic bubble and eat health food and exercise and anything else you think will help, but the sad fact is we all die... Not everyone actually LIVES their life... I for one have spent my life LIVING it.. I have a sports car that yep can break the law pretty easily. I also have a VERY fast sport bike that is stupid fast and could kill you in 2.2 seconds if you are an idiot. I have also made 100 foot double jumps with my dirt bike and yep that is damned dangerous... I have flown airplanes and helicopters and even had a dynamic rollover during training. And while THAT is not recommended, I was only able to experience these things because I CAN. Some of my most memorable experiences have happened during activities that someone would consider dangerous and some may even find foolish. Their opinions are of ZERO value to me. I know my abilities and have managed to live until my forties and will live probably much longer... What I won't do is sit on my death bed at 95 years old and lament about how I wish I had done (fill in the blank) I have lived and continue to live my life as I see fit and will ask that all of you that want to restrict my right to live my life please keep it to your self... I won't tolerate my life being restricted due to the fears of others getting in the way. (If you don't want to do any of these things, then by all means don't. But don't violate my ability to LIVE my life due to your fear of losing yours.)

Now back on topic, can we just agree that it is very sad that a young man's life was lost in a tragic accident and leave it at that?

"Pride is a poor substitute for intelligence."
