Dead WW2 aircraft flying in circles - Is DCS looking at this?
Rolds replied to ChuckIV's topic in General Bugs
This was also reported in this locked thread. This problem was also in the game years ago and they fixed it, but have somehow unfixed it and left it unfixed for two months and counting now. -
Hi, I use the argument 32 - bord numbers, second digit to present the MiG23 MDL. Works good so far ... interesting as long as there is no switch in DCS ... Damage models next ... Hope it will be good. Cheers TOM

Pretty disappointing is not a priority for ED -
Yes. That is how aerodynamics works. That is the core basics of how generating lift works. Increase speed to increase lift, and decrease speed to decrease lift. That is why losing engine power makes the plane/jet slow which then makes it fall out of the sky.

We were seeing this for a while, but not currently.

Because they were waiting for the record , 9.08.2025 Lockheed Martin:

It's impossible to provide a full path that will be correct for everyone .. for example your saved games path includes your username, the DCS folder can be named DCS, DCS World, DCS.openbeta, it can be a custom name like my own DCS.296 (from when I had two DCS versions at the same time). I don't think it is too much to ask from our users to know where their home folder is, and where they installed DCS on the first place. I prefer to refer to them as the DCS Program folder (wherever you put it) and the DCS saved Games folder, and leave to the users to locate them on their own PC.

These issues still remain with shadows off afaik. Not just in the F-5 but in many modules.

Sorry, I'm all in for supporting the developers, but the subscription marketing model is awful .. the moment your income situation changes (retiring, losing our job for a while, a serious disease) you lose access to your software, media entertainment, cloud storage, etc, etc ... I much rather purchase rather than subscribing.

If this has been proposed here several times in the past and nothing has changed, something is wrong. Unfortunately, ED is gradually bringing this situation to its own attention with its approach. When they cannot distribute efforts and resources so that mistakes do not occur over time, they only complicate the situation cumulatively in the future, until it may eventually become unsolvable. I estimate that they must already be focused on newspaper income and they have no time or money left for old mistakes-debts. And on top of that, there are legal - economic issues with RAZBAM. I am also sure that a lot of people will come to explain to us that it is okay.

I'm looking at that picture very closely but I'm not seeing any RCAF markings.

CyberCopter started following IR Heat Seeker Missiles - Lock Behavior Not Functioning Properly
-
I've been flying the Viggen for a while now and working my way through all the weapons. When trying to use the Sidewinder derived A2A missiles the seeker heads do not behave as expected, compared to the F-4E which worked flawlessly in the same mission file. The only heat source that I can get a proper tone lock from is (directly bore sighted towards) the sun. No adversary aircraft I tried will give a tone. The Missile Uncage button will not lock on a target either. The missiles sometimes track to the target from an exact bore sight. I'm flying a fully patched version 2.9.18.12899 MT. I suspect that this is a bug. I looked and could not find any way that the Viggen is misconfigured on my part.

track ir is slaving to the tdc in the a10 c when using HMCS
Yurgon replied to Raven434th's topic in Bugs and Problems
I'm afraid you'll have to rephrase that question. The TDC is the cursor you get in the HUD with the HUD as SOI. It doesn't have anything to do with the HMCS though. You say TrackIR is slaving to something, but you then describe the opposite, which is something being slaved to your TrackIR. What do you mean by "pressing the slew"? The slew control on the throttle has a push or "Z-axis" command, but that doesn't do anything in our A-10C. Do you simply mean "slewing the HDC using the slew control"? It depends on a few factors. Which sensor is your SOI? Did you hook anything in the HMCS? What's your SPI? Generally speaking, when you have set the HMCS as SOI, the slew control will move the HDC around. The HDC is ground stabilized. But the HDC can only be slewed inside the HMCS' field of view. So if you look at a certain point you can slew the HDC around, and if you look away and then look back, the HDC will still be where you left it. But as soon as you tap the slew control, the HDC will reappear inside the HMCS' field of view. So if you have a crappy slew control that maybe sends small inputs all the time, the HDC would appear to follow where you look all the time. This problem could be eliminated with a center deadzone for the 2 slew control axes (or with better hardware ). But maybe I'm misunderstanding the issue you're having, in which case it would help if you could stick to the module's terminology quite precisely. A short track might also help explain the issue a little better. -

If you posted this 1 week ago, I could link you the conversation on the Razbam situation thread. Now the old posts are deleted. DM Lineline or BIGNEWY to get the info.

Looks like the textures of damaged glass are already in the game now, maybe just needs some coding to have them set up for the damage model.

OH-6A by Tobsen and Eightball
ANDR0ID replied to tobi's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
A fix to equip rockets on the OH-6 in multiplayer servers with the warehouse system enabled - Download here: OH-6 Rocket Fix I've confirmed this works on Rotorheads, and should work on any multiplayer server (as long as FFAR are instock at the applicable airfield, etc.) -
Thank you both, much appreciated! Yes, I had trouble with that too. It can work fine multiple times, then it doesn't. I haven't checked it for a while though, maybe something broke.

Just want to say thanks for this campaign! I'm really enjoying it, it's a great way to learn this plane!

Soon we will fly this beauty in full fidelity, it is really good. I hope there will be more Russian/Soviet jets from 1970 to our days

Hi, Are you willing to sell just the MFD’s? So without the UFC.
