reported earlier MSI bug - NWS L&S and DT2 designations
wilbur81 replied to John5's topic in Bugs and Problems
Indeed...it's currently pretty bad. Like, "don't add to the public update yet" bad. Oh, well. They'll sort it out. -
SUggest would have worked better than offer which would have worked better than offend which I think could be an auto correct error like ducking mad

AI do not react to ARH at all.
rob10 replied to Rhayvn's topic in Aircraft AI Bugs (Non-Combined Arms)
ai non defensive.trk TRACKFILE - Caucuses map. Doesn't react after missile goes pitbull, just flies straight until it takes the missile in the face. -
I suspect the word 'offend' has mistranslated, can you offer an alternative word (synonym)? Or am I being a dummkopf?

It wont stay hidden. The central place will be the repo. Hopefully soon, fingers crossed. -
Situation: Landing approach to Ushi airfield. Suddenly the engine stops and the plane lands successfully while gliding. But why engine failure? Is this the new realistic behavior? I could live without it or use precise instructions on how to fly the Corsair without failures. If you want to watch the track, I`ll upload it later.

why not both? I really hate these X instead of Y threads when Y has been announced.

F-14B(?) Upgrade as featured in DCS 2025 video
JupiterJoe replied to VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Wow! I don't own a module with modern avionics like MFD's etc. I was saving the space in my brain for the F-14B(U). Looks like I'm going to need it. It's also increasingly looking like scrapping those F-14D's was not just a crime, but a sin. Yeah, I know they were difficult to maintain etc, but what a machine they must've been. It'd have even been worth launching a spec ops mission to sabotage Iraq's F-14's just so we could have kept the D's around a bit longer. A bit naughty I know. What with the early A and this it's going to be the best year for the Tomcat since launch. Can't wait. -
You had me at first, then lost me immediately when you requested to remove the 35.

I'm not sure which variant(s) but this would be good for WWII to the Vietnam era

Hi. I'm having a problem with mission 11. The mission stops when attacking an APC (which is the later stage, after destroying the building and launcher vehicles). We get a message about two APCs heading for the FOB. Unfortunately, both vehicles are... indestructible. I only have one GBU on this stage. Yesterday I dropped it on the APC south, 100% hit - nothing happened, it drove away a bit and that's it. Okay, today I'm repeating the mission and hitting the one east with a GBU. I see the bomb hit the APC centrally, and it drove away, not destroyed (although later I have help here and the APC is destroyed by another plane). The mission isn't progressing. Number 41 is flying with one Maverick and he's not helping to destroy any APC. I returned to the airfield, drove up to the hangar, but the mission is failed. I also think there should be a Winchaster option on every stage, although in this case, either I'm doing something wrong or the APCs' invincibility has not been removed, and the mission is incomplete. East: South: It stops here:

Saab SK-60 Trainer
Rudel_chw replied to VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
All User Mods have the same evolution, to have the best experience with them is best to be an early adopter, because eventually all authors move onto other projects after a time. The developer of this Mod, @Breadmaker91, began work on early 2021 and I started using it a year later, with its initial public release, and enjoyed it for a long while. But over three years have passed by, so one can fully understand that the developer moves onto newer projects and I'm ok with that. -
I am s new Pimax Customer und fortunately one of the early Super owners. I was worried about Pimax hard- and software quality as also a (very) bad customer service since the forum is full of bad post regarding the service. From my perspective, the hardware is just perfect (ok, smallest screws in the world for headstrap, that‘s the only complaint). Software runs very well and is being developed step by step with some nice improvements. Tracking has some issues, but that will for sure be resolved and lighthouse faceplate will be available in a few month. I habe found quite fast and helpful responses by @Calvin.Pimax within this forum as also within the one ticket I opened in support (regarding a grey veil being visible). For sure there are some frustrated customers, I just wanted to point out that there are also very happy ones lile me around.

Is anyone else seeing this since the last update? At BVR distance (70nm), the pair splits up after activating. Often with several miles between them. The enemy group is expressly given a task to attack you in this case. The option in the group to override AI disengage decision is set. Once the -1 element is shot down, the -2 turns toward the nearest airfield and disengages. Sometimes but not always, both of them will disengage if they are near enough to a neutral airfield. Anyone else seeing this?

Maneuvering On The Ground With Differential Braking
GeoS72 replied to AG-51_Razor's topic in Bugs and Problems
@-Rudel-, have you independently confirmed this bug exists, besides reading this thread? Making sharp turns in the Corsair is not possible in its current state. Do you require more information or data? Are you suggesting that the users are SOL ("Still" Out of Luck) for differential braking? -
Had a chance to watch all three tracks. Nice pattern work and landings Excellent throttle management on takeoff as well, taking it up to only 50", and not full throttle. However, you cooked the engine on all three flights with the oil temp gauge pegged to the right. Open up those oil cooler flaps and you'll be all good. This behavior changed in the last update, so this is why your usual procedure from before no longer works. Unrelated to the engine, I noticed you unlocked the tailwheel prior to your takeoff roll. Only FYI: The procedures IRL called for locked tailwheels on takeoffs. Cheers! Copy all that. Without having met you, I had no clue if you are brand new to DCS and warbirds, or a 20 year vet. I did try watching your track file this morning to see if I can help further, but I don't have the necessary mods installed that you had active in your track file, so it won't let me load it. I'm not familiar with those mods, and as many others will say, try running it without mods to see if you have the same issue. Mods can be tricky like that. Cheers.

Hi Rudel, I don’t understand… If, as you say, that is out of your control, and what is seen in the reflection is the external model pilot and cockpit, how come that some planes do not show the pilot in the mirrors AT ALL, no matter how extreme side or up viewpoint, or zoom level, like the F-18 and the A-10 and MIG-21. Granted, some show the pilot in the mirror, but only with extreme absurd side or up viewpoints like in the P-51, F-5 and Sabre. On ALL this planes in the external view, the pilot is very much present, without exception. So this is plane related, don’t you think?

PSVR2 - now works with Eye Tracking and Quad Views!
Morat replied to proxlamus's topic in Virtual Reality
This is fantastic news!! I'm looking forward to trying this out as soon as I get back from holiday. Could you add your PC hardware specs please? For comparison, I'm generally holding 60 FPS unless I'm taxiing in a big base or something similar on a 4080/9800x3d Thank you for your setting page, really useful! -

Repository for Jester scripting examples and mods.
Atlas110 replied to Amarok_73's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
@Zabuzard Just checking back in on this. Really excited to start making my own mods, but trying to figure things out without examples is a headache. Even if the Jester source code stays hidden for now, it would still be very helpful to have a central place for people to share code and collaborate. Thanks!
