  1. In Wags video on the Hornet radar I noticed the perf over Guam was good, in addition to the new water effects. And so did others. See Wags reply to a comment on that video. It is getting worked on so hopefully everyone will be happy. You just need to be patient
  2. There is the KAFA mod but that is only visual as far as a know https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3309124/
  3. Next major patch is planned for September. From here
  4. Following links should help with this https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/Threat_Database https://www.airgoons.com/w/DCS_Reference/Missile_Ranges
  5. Still can see the values via https://github.com/Quaggles/dcs-lua-datamine
  6. There are instant action missions for some planes. F/A-18 and F-16 both have 3 each. Mi-24 has 4. F-14 has a lot. Minky has released his sandbox for the Marana's, which has most aircraft in it. That will allow you to fly the map without having to create a mission. You can every blow things up https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3317282/ https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3317281/ There is also the 'Free Flight and Practice - Mariana Islands' mission uploaded on user files, which has all aircraft in DCS https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3317280/
  7. Saved Games is a special folder. Right click over it, select Properties and then the location tab.. Click 'Move... and choose an new location
  8. Runs until July 12th, 2021 From their YouTube announcing the sale
  9. Seems Petrovich is not enabled for the Caucasus free flight. See this thread
  10. For the Russian quick start guide this might be it https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3316894/
  11. Eagle Dynamics registry key path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Eagle Dynamics
  12. If you own the module the manual is also in the docs folder for that aircraft i.e. C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\F14\Docs or similar
  13. Sounds like it might be wake turbulence. Do you have that enabled?
  14. Might be of help https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3312410/ and https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313086/ and https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3312707/ Not Persian Gulf but has CASE III Training for various aircraft and super carrier https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3312742/
  15. You should disable SSAA or set it to 2. SSAO does not fix it. From the patch notes: SSAA 1.5 creates problems with clouds, please use SSAA 2.0 or disable for now.
  16. ShiftieMover, a twitch streamer, has created a really good SAM hunting mission supporting various aircraft (F/A-18, F-16, A-10C, AV-8B and JF17) with hot or cold starts. You must have the Syria map though. You use the F10 comms menu to choose what you are going up against, with increasing difficulty. You can find the mission in his mission downloads folder over at https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/19bU-JgZIZpIeHy61w6dU0thHio5tHRxI Look for "Syria Hunt the SAMs".
  17. Maybe you set a custom snap view? https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/Cockpit_Views#:~:text=The game now remembers this, view to this Snap View. If you have Snapviews.lua in *your username*/Saved games/DCS/Config/View then temporarily remove to see if that is the issue. Folder structure will be slightly different if you running the beta. /DCS/ will be /DCS.openbeta/
  18. So the issue is a lot of videos are out of date. TorniQuet has just started a 2.7 specific beginner series that is very good. And has a up to date startup guide
  19. See this thread Last post links to a manual with various acceleration / fuel rates tables. Not sure how accurately it is modelled in DCS
