  2. Can't help you finding a solution, but fwiw: Im running DCS in VR on a "steam-powered" GTX1080ti and the IHADSS isn't jittery here. So I very much doubt it to be a GPU issue (especially if you turned down a few gfx settings)
  3. I'm pretty sure that when you zoom in on those small bases in the mission editor, some of them show "UN" letters. Talking about the ones on the border between Lebanon and Israel. Might actually be letters on the helipads, but I can't remember 100%

Do some aggressive manoeuvres and you'll hear other numbers It goes with 10ft intervals and eventually to at least 30ft (don't think I ever heard any more than 30ft) But yes, this is a very old, poorly implemented feature (I think it was already there with the UH1 release) and could really use a revamp. It's very unclear what is said... "The load is hanging steady, take it awot"

  7. Forum seems exessively slow and sometimes not responding at all since 2 or 3 days. @BIGNEWY; something going on in the background? (something seems wrong, as I don't have any issues with other websites)
  8. Many of the triggers are bound to the two client slots that I added (00_Player and 01_Player). So no, if you add additional Chinooks, those won't be detected by the triggers and I expect issues with missions/tasks. You can try adding extra Chinooks and have them assist the 00_Player and 01_Player slots, but I have no idea how well it'll work. Btw: Anyone else having issues loading the 4th medical crate? (I see someone posting a report about it in the user files section, but on my end all works fine)
  9. Exactly. Quite a cumbersome process if you have multiple waypoints. I agree with the OP that some sort of "patrol" task/action would be a very welcome QOL improvement for the mission editor.
  10. Many beautiful helipad locations around the Golan Heights (Syria map) That whole map is perfect for helo flying. Mountainous area on Cyprus is also very nice.
  11. Please note that version 1.2 has just been uploaded (latest Syria map introduced some new scenery, so I had to reposition a few objects)
  12. Exactly You'll only see the embark option if you're close enough. (Basically, if you just land on the helipad, you can embark them) Tip: just disembark them somewhere in/near the location that is under attack and they'll engage the enemies when they get close enough
  13. When you land close to the infantry groups (they're located at CAMP HERMON helipad just outside the main base where you start), you can use the radio menu to embark, and later, disembark them. It's a "recently" added core DCS feature (Just load one team, you might need the other team later) iirc; they're listed as "paratroopers" in the radio menu

  15. Apart from the Supercarrier comms, JTAC/AFAC is about the best part of "radio communications" we have at the moment in DCS. Sure, seeing this part improved would be nice, but I much rather see ATC being improved first (Although not perfect, at least JTAC is not a complete laugh, like ATC is...)

  20. Hi @Exorcet, I just flew mission #1. Here's some feedback: AI (as commonly known) is unfortunately extremely dumb when it comes down to fuel usage. I strongly suggest you give them as much fuel as possible (in mission 1 you can easily give them all 3 external tanks). On my try; after the first engagement, I send all three of 'em to the tanker and all three ejected before reaching the tanker . Either give them more fuel, or limit their AB usage. Please add a mission kneeboard. It's not that much work making a basic kneeboard with all freq's on it, yet a huge immersion improvement (especially for us VR users). Did you enforce easy comms? I noticed I didn't have to tune to the correct comm channels. For those of us who want just that little extra realism (even though DCS ATC is abominal), you might want to consider leaving easy comms optional. In the briefing text, it said there were two tankers. One in the east and one in the west. Is that indeed correct? I only managed to find the one in the east (admittedly, I haven't look that well) Might be nice to add a small triggered message after the player has landed back at Al Dafra (something like "you may exit the mission now). Anyways.. al the above is meant as positive feedback. Thank you for your contribution! Always good to see more Viper content
  21. Totally fine to give your opinion @Tank50us, but these wild assumptions, based on.. well.. absolutely nothing.. are super annoying. My 2 cents on the subject: Current pilot body models are just fine for me. As long as I have virtual body, legs and arms, it good for me

  23. I placed my order intent Oct 2023 and exchanged a few DM's with rel4y, but haven't heard about the project since. No grudge or any hard feelings, but I gave up waiting and moved on and pulled the trigger on a 2nd, or (as became clear later) 3rd hand RS FSSB R3.
  24. Do you mean have the AI start airborne with slingload? I don't think that's possible. If you expand a little on what you want to create, perhaps there's workarounds though.
