  1. My vote would be for whomever who can speak the mostly freely and intelligently, and in detail, about the long term plans to make DCS less of a sandbox. i.e. Dynamic Campaign, Carrier Ops, improved AI, improved ATC, improved missile guidance, improved damage logic, utilization, etc, etc. Something different than the usual "Here is some info on the next module or asset pack or map that will be for sale." While that is always very exciting I think many of us want to gain a better understanding of where DCS is heading and how this is all coming together more than the current hodge podge.
  2. Check out Hornetpits.org Once you’re registered and approved you’ll be able to view their forums, there are many solid resources there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Beautiful, sounds like the next kit might be what I’ll be looking for. Subbed and I’ll be keeping an eye out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. With the new slew, do you still maintain the ability to “push” or “click” to lock the target on the A2A TDC? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. You heard it here first guys
  6. Wags and ED have said numerous times they hope to release the manual early, so not sure I understand your issue here? Also, as said above, the NATOPS manual has 90% things that don’t matter for DCS and a lot of the things that do matter are brushed over with minimal detail. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Huh? I can easily see every OSB from my standard view in the Harrier pit, what am I missing?
  8. FWIW, I know that "Jello" (retired Legacy Hornet USN pilot who runs The Fighter Pilot Podcast) said that he always had a personal preference to refuel with full flaps. IIRC he said it was split between guys he flew with; some preferred Auto, some preferred Full. Full would obviously help a bit with the slow speed stability as well, although it doesn't sound like it is needed
  9. Great work here, a nice improvement on an already fantastic first version. Thanks for your time and effort! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. You can also just search the part number at the link below and it will price out all of the online warehouses and show you the best pricing (and who will allow a low qty purchase): https://octopart.com/
  11. Hype x 100,000,000 for me on this one. Holy hell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Spacial hand tracking would, letting go of a physical HOTAS to grab controllers would not. At least for me. There’s no implementation of that that would ever makes sense for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Finally got this beast from the post office today after they held it hostage for 10 days. Sat in the parking lot here for 5-10 minutes flicking it up and down like a child haha #oddlysatisfying Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. That’s great man, things worked out for you just in time [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. New VR Settings for 2.5 *edit* Posted in wrong thread, oops. Deleted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Speaking from experience, the hand controller implementation is nothing to wait around for. It’s awkward AF and pretty much pointless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Appreciate the insight brother
  18. Jesus, really?! That is incredibly disappointing.
  19. Many of the items for the simpit build out have begun arriving... TS100 soldering iron and some switches Misc soldering accessories 5 of the more specialized switches up front (L to R: flaps, landing/taxi lights, Master Arm, Anti Skid) plus 10x On-Off-On and 10x (On)-Off-(On) Momentary switches piled up in the back. Still waiting on one last switch (a duplicate of the one in the front row center). It still didn’t feel 100% real until I ended up ordering this work bench...for a guy who has hated DIY’ing his whole life, that was a big step and it made it feel really real. 20. It has been said many times that yes, they do need to lean in to see the full HUD. I cannot confirm though as I've never driven a Hog myself
  21. It's been discussed, debated and argued ad nauseam already...it's not likely to change, from what I've seen. It is what is generally referred to as "World Scale".
  22. Awesome man, I had no idea you had a Tornado LG too! Thanks a million for the video and the post. Cheers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. What kind of rotaries (brands and models) should I be targeting? Since I went high quality mil-spec on the toggle switches I suppose I should be doing the same for the rotaries, but not sure where to start on my research for HQ makes and models? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. 100% agree, so useful (and necessary) in VR when it's blindingly bright out.
