Being in an F-16 equipped with HARMs, HTS and an ECM pod has really neutered the threat from the current S-300 in my experience. Something that couldn't be said 5 years ago.

Noticed the dichotomy in the kind of air defense in-game. We have the Igla-S (SA-24) but no newer radar systems like the S-300PMU (SA-20) or the S-300V (SA-12) and Buk-M1-2 (SA-17). The same with some NATO systems. Not sure which version of the Patriot is represented in DCS but assuming it's the PAC-1. From a challenge standpoint, just think these would be nice additions.

This was a great mod to try although I will probably come back to it when the completed EFM is released. I look forward to seeing how this evolves.

So t his uses the Su-33 lua. Does this mean the wings will have a lower stress tolerance due to the Flanker-Ds foldable wings and snap off under the same stress?

Great episode. Had no idea the IRST was that good of a sensor on the Tomcat. I also imagine the A and B being alittle bit lighter also worked to their benefit too.

The F-14B (Upgrade) would be the cherry on top to this already terrific module if it becomes a reality down the pipeline and would be worth paying alittle extra for. Certainly seems more possible compared to getting the Super Tomcat.

This is when I wish ED was based in Poland or any place outside Russia. Alot of great airframes we're missing out on such as Su-27, Su-24M, Mig-23MLD, Su-25SM, etc.

I've been seeing performance drops all around in MP and longer load times when dropping out of a server and even shutting the game off. Just really long loading times or delays whenever MP is involved for the last month or so. I've checked my RAM usage and still have space available even with 16GB.

Where would I set the page file? I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with that.

I'm usually on an MP server for 30-45 minutes or doing an Instant Action mission on the Caucasus map, and running into this issue. Running on 16GB of RAM.

CV-63 Kitty Hawk, CVN-65 Enterprise, CVN-68, 69 and 70 are all on my SC wishlist. Also, still waiting to see the Stennis get the SC treatment.

I've noticed issues when attempting to close DCS over the last month I think where it just presents a blank screen to me and won't shutdown properly to my desktop. I check the Windows task manager and see DCS in a Not Responding state, and it just holds there. Is there anyone else experiencing this?

I realize it's an aesthetic but it would be great to see an option for the standard visor on the pilot model for the Viper, Hornet and Warthog modules. Another unique modelling that would be interesting to see would be modelling of the NVG goggles to pilot's helmet if you elect to wear them. I hope these options are in the pipeline down the road.

I can honestly live with cockpit musical chime of the A model. What still irks my ears with both the A and B Tomcats is the external sound loop when looking at the Tomcat from the front aspect and when in the F3 flyby camera. Been wondering if HB will fix or smooth this out in a future update.

Launched a mission where I added additional waypoints using The Way tool. Set the QWP to one of these new WPs and Jester simply refused to line up the Lantirn pod with any of the new points. Had no problem pointing to original waypoints though.

I had heard of some issues earlier in the year/ Tried checking VFAT's FB page and found it gone. So the VFAT team disbanded?

A regular eye sore has been the horribly dated AI aircraft textures which have remained the same since the LOMAC days. The C-17, B-1, B-52, Su-17,, S-3, Mig-23, etc all come to mind. Not advocating for a high-fidelity upgrade but their textures certainly could use an update to make them appear less out of place in DCS, especially when up closer to them.
