I had this happen as well. Not sure what can be done right now. I'm just going to wait for the damage model to finish. I also thought the Harpoon has a terminal flight mode where it will climb rapidly an dive into the target.
Really came down to the Pentagon deciding to put the money towards the LANTIRN conversion instead of the AIM-120 software update from what I heard. If geopolitics hadn't been shifting away from the Cold War, I'd imagine things would have been different.
I found landing the SC to be abit more challenging than on the original Stennis but that may have been because I was focusing too much on the glide slope indicator. It became a much bigger habit in the F-14 than the Hornet as well. Not to hijack but what other features still remain to be implemented for the SC as I'm considering grabbing it as well after the free trial?
I'm fine with sticking to one year and specific make of the aircraft. I just wish ED had gone with an F-16C that was sporting the APG-68 (V9) and Sniper XR pod.
I've noticed when coming off afterburner at higher altitude that the engines refuse to throttle back from near max mil thrust. In a clean configuration, I was actually holding a supercruising speed of Mach 1.4. I start descending and the throttle still doesn't respond and I eventually hear a clunk from my engines. I regain throttle control at about 14,000 feet. This seems to happen everytime and I just would like to know if this is normal for the GE F110s?
It would be nice to see the F-15C get an update including putting it, timeline wise, more on par with the Hornet and Falcon. ie, Give it the JHMCS and AIM-9X along with Datalink even it remains an FC3 bird.
Maybe they are just labelled differently since it's been awhile since I've played with the key bindings but I cannot find the key settings to set the different ACM modes. Happened after the latest patch and I did make certain to rename the F-14B folder to just F-14. I just can't find a way to rebind the ACM radar modes.
How do you dispense a single chaff/flare with one push instead of dispensing multiple? I've tried setting it to Bypass mode and still get multiple flares dispersing.

I have to say it's nice to see these birds so active again.
These varying figures always confused me as the specifications I've read on the F110 engines state they produce 28,200 total. While the TF30 -P414 was rated at something like 20,800.
